Can I transfer items between accounts?

Hehe you can transfer between accounts by using the Storage however you can only use that in post-searing unfortunately. So you can't transfer between pre-searing and post-searing however you can store the stuff until your new character gets to post-searing.

Yep, they're both right. The bank is shared between all characters of your account, but you can't access your bank until you finish pre-searing, which is the 'training' type area at the start of the game. After that, pretty much any town you come to will have an NPC who can bank stuff for you.
