12 Days Of Christmas Contest! - CurvedSpace Forums

All right, I've decided to hold a contest during Christmas just to get at least one out. I hope to figure out some more, but this one is convenient for all.

We all know the popular 12 Days of Christmas song, and we also know there are many possible variations to it.

So for this contest, all competitors will have to create their own variation of song relating to SeeD. Here's a simple example:

"On the first day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
A CurvedSpace in a pear tree."

Very simple! Everyone send their song to me as a private message (PM), and after the deadline I'll post everyone's songs up in the event forum (new topic), and anyone who wants to vote can vote (don't have to be a competitor).

NOTE: I know typing out the whole song can be repetitive/tedious, so you can just send in the last verse, which is this for the original:

To vote for someone's song just send me a PM with your choice, and no you can't vote for your own, Christmas spirit.

The winner with the most votes gets their song posted on the site under the news. Not a very spectacular prize, but I don't have much to offer at the moment and this is a small event anyways just for fun. I've seen how creative SeeDs can get.

Rules

Just a summary of what to do and simple rules.

Your song must be a variation of the 12 Days of Christmas song, and must be related to SeeD.
No profanity, insults, swears, etc. Not even minor ones since they are not needed at all to complete your song.
To submit your song, send it as a private message (PM) to me by the deadline, December 27, 2005 (quick link to PM me here).
You are allowed only one submittion.
Anyone is allowed to vote. To vote send a PM to me with your choice (I will have made a topic in the Event Forum with all entries).
You're allowed only one vote, and you cannot vote for your own song. Please don't not vote for the sake of not raising other competitor's count. This is supposed to be a time of generosity.
The winner with the highest count of votes will get their song posted on the site under the news for da' holidays.

All right, that's all the info I can think of, simple really but it's always easy to get confused.

I made the deadline after Christmas to give everyone at least some time, but hopefully close enough to Christmas so that everyone in still in their spirits. Yes this starts now, so start sending in your songs.
