I'm currently (finally) watching the Evangelion series. I've read and enjoyed the mangas, and the movies are looking good.

I watched the Naruto marathon on CN the other day. It's not bad. It'll probably kick off .hack//sign.

Yeah, Naruto's good. Like sitting on a hornet's next.

Well, you can't watch it as a marathon. It spends the first 5 to 10 minutes reviewing what happened in the previous episode. That really got annoying.

I don't even like the original version, and I've heard the dub is atrocious.

Mostly I just can't stand Naruto himself. So bloody obnoxious.

Naruto is decent but the anime makes it like another DBZ. The manga keeps it short, sweet, but still awesome unlike the anime which extends a fight scene for 2 hrs :\ Personally, I don't like watching a really long battle when it can be cut short.

It does drag things on, but I have a reasonably high tolerance for that kind of thing and so it doesn't get on my nerves too much.

At first I was fairly indifferent about it, but I find that it improves over time. Not to mention that Naruto is a lot less irritating later on. bluetongue.gif

I haven't heard any of the dub, I could imagine it being quite bad though.

Mine might be something like:

1. Inuyasha

2. Full Metal Alchemist

3. Naruto

4. Cowboy Bebop

5. Trigun

6. Witch Hunter Robin

I haven't watched that many good animes anytime lately.

Oh and I was obsessed wit Dragonball/Z/GT when I was a little kid and I occasionally still watch it. (Adult Swim plays the same 10 or so episodes over and over. >.<)
