To be honest, I don't really like Inuyasha that much anymore... I mean, if it is on, i'll watch it. But I don't like it nearly as much as I used to.
It kinda seems like the only people that like it anymore are 13-year-old chicks who talk about how "hot" they think Inuyasha is. >.>

That can be rather annoying. Fangirls are crazy.
After all the annoying filler though they'll get to the introduction of Hakudoshi, and all the major battles that come with it.
The current filler episodes are quite annoying though. Especially since Viz decided to translate and further worsen the already atrocious version of "Ode to Joy" they put in the anime for reasons I can't begin to fathom.
Just wish they followed the manga more. And y'know, actually kept going and didn't end it at the absolute most random moment possible. >_>

the only anime movie i've seen all the way through is "Princess Mononoke"... that probably means i need to start watching more, but my parents don't like that kind of art... in fact, when i began drawing it myself, my mom said i had to stop it because she knew i could do better. all i said was that i had finally found a style of drawing that i really liked, and that i could get the proportions on people correct
.
so... curently my list is:
1. Princess Mononoke

I know what you mean. My mom's knowledge of anime extends to the dub of "One Piece." (Haven't seen it myself, but I know 4Kids did it, and they're the ones who do the US versions of Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sonic X, and other "kids" shows... so yeah.) I bought the first volume of Fullmetal Alchemist, and her response was "...oh. It's a cartoon." And, in general, she wonders how anyone can stand watching it when it's not as... fluid as, say, a Disney movie.
I'm planning to hijack her free time at some point to show her Cowboy Bebop, primarily because I have access to the DVDs, the dub is done well (she can't stand subtitles), and it seems like the kind of show she'd enjoy. (Well, besides the fact that it's anime.)

i would consider anime much more sluid than disney... thats because its done by people who can actually draw instead of scribble things in. you don't get the shading of colors in disney films that you do in anime films.

Screencap from The Lion King. Compare to your sig.
And what does fluid motion have to do with shading?

2. FMA
3. Gungrave
4. School Rumble
5. Hunter X Hunter
6. FMP
7. NGE
8. Yu Yu Hakusho
9. Inuyasha
10. Rurouni Kenshin
Yeah... I added a bunch of new series. Kicked out bleach cause I don't watch the anime, i just read the manga LOL.
If you're wondering "Is Gungrave, School Rumble, and Hunter X Hunter that great?", I'm going to say it depends on personal preference. Maybe the other series just got too old for me XD
Gungrave, I love the storyline up until a certain point. A story about 2 best friends, mafia-related, conspiracy, revenge, and a little bit of love.
School Rumble is a comedy based on school life. It starts off slow, but once you're used to the characters I think anyone will get addicted to it.
Hunter X Hunter is a cooler version of Naruto lol (no ninjas -.- Well just one, but that character is minor). It flew under the radars cause the manga's art is poop and it starts off slow.
