Oric stood in the middle of the Colosseum, waiting for his opponents to arrive. He had been waiting for at least an hour now, and had let his guard down several times in impatience. If his enemies were hiding, then they were fools for not striking already. He would probably still win, though.

He had received a letter in his manor directing him to come alone, directly mentioning not to bring Dalkindaran, so he had snuck away and left a note for him to meet him at the Colosseum in the stands. So Dalkindaran was probably waiting to be admitted in...

Oric thought he heard something, and immediately his two halberds swung from his back, ready to attack.

Rhesal enters the colosseum with Nero at his heel. Rhesal Runs at Oric, Draws his sword and attacks. Nero readies a spell....

Oric turned swiftly, hearing the sound of footsteps behind him. There was nobody there. He heard footsteps behind him closer this time and turned swiftly again. Nobody. The footsteps came from behind him once more, this time almost on top of him, and as he turned, two warriors greeted him. He immediately raised his weapons in defense, but was two late. The sword came down, making a deep slash on Oric's shoulder.

The mage cast his spell, and the world seemed to turn to ice. He couldn't move for the cold, and he attempted to shake off the cold before the warrior attacked him during his weak time or the mage cast another spell. Finally, he was able to get out of the cold.

The mage would have to go before he did another air effecting spell. What if he could make it harden so he couldn't breath? Yes, he would definitely have to go. He leaped at the mage, driving the blades of his twin halberds into the ground a couple of yards away from him. Using the momentum of his running, he propelled himself into the air, rushing through it at the mage. As he came around a semi-circle and his feet hit the ground, he immediately pulled the axes out of the ground and swung them full speed over his head, both slashing down lethally at the mage, and both using the force of his running and jump.

Ability used=
- Greater Crushing Blow (3200): EC=0; DP=Primary Weapon's Normal Damage + 200; Effect = Prevents the Warrior's next turn: The Warrior uses his/her strength and slams the target with his/her weapon, doing a good amount of damage. This ability can be used with two weapons equipped, though only the primary weapon affects the damage.

Rhesal screams as his brother's body hits the ground with a dull thud. "YOU WILL PAY!" Rhesal's anger transforms into a lion, the beast of pure rage. As the lion rushes at Oric he jumps and slashes with his claws in midair.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 8: Illusion of the Lion: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Those who follow Guane are often capable of changing form into a lion.

Oric, almost out of energy and needing time to recharge from his last attack, was not ready when the weight of a lion fell on top of him, its claws outstretched. It battered against his strong armor, but still did some damage to him. He immediately rolled over onto his back, struggling with the weight and power of this lion.

Rhesal shrinks back into human form; his satisfaction rising as he sees the blood and gashes on Oric. Rhesal unsheathes his Knight's Sword with his left hand; his Sword of Snow readied in his right. He gets the weight familiar in his palms and he rushes at Oric slashing twice.

- Ambidexterity (0): EC=0; DP=0: Can hold two weapons at the same time (as long as the weapon does not require both hands).

As the lion turns back into a man, Oric struggles to catch his breath. The lion had knocked all wind out of him when he lunged at him, and he couldn't move in his current state. That's why as the man lunged at him again, slashing with two weapons, Oric could do nothing to stop it.

His air finally gained back, Oric raised his legs into the air and used his momentum to leap onto his feet. Circling his opponent, Oric waited for the moment to strike. He seized his chance and lunged forward, his foot shooting towards the man like a cobra. It made contact with him and sent him flying (for 324 dp!).

Lunging forward again, he let his weapons slide downward and then secured his grip again, making his hands only two feet below the head of the axe. As he came to the body of the man on the ground, he drove both of the spikes on the top of his axes into the man's chest (for 715 dp!).

Leaping across the body and turning swiftly around, he kicked the body lightly with his foot (for 1 dp!)
