"Featured Factions" include active factions in certain games considered particularly significant for SeeD's presence. They aren't necessarily a list of SeeD's "best" factions, only those that are active in games that are significant for promotional purposes. SeeD needs to grow some roots in solid ground outside Runescape, and certain games are more suitable for this than others.

All other factions are not excluded or considered lesser.

However, having an identifiable image will greatly help all factions promote themselves. Being active in certain games would be a plus for all factions' recruitment, and it will promote interaction between factions.

At the moment only our RS and GW factions are 'featured', but I'll provide a list of games that could easily be considered later if we gain a presence there. The number of featured factions will be finite since they're on the board index, but these are our best bets:


If Active, Guaranteed As Featured:

- World of Warcraft (faction led by Nighthawk)
- EverQuest 2 (faction led by me)

These are often considered the 'big two' at the moment, and we have a faction in each. Nighthawk's is new, and I've kept mine dormant until factions started to grow. Along with arguably being the two most popular new subscription MMORPGs, they could broaden our member base, which will be beneficial to the community and all factions. WoW is generally more popular with a younger age group (12-24), and also has more of a focus on PvP. EQ2 is generally more popular with an older age group because of its D&D appeal (16-40ish), and has more of a quest and PvE focus.


If Lastingly Active, Fairly Possible As Featured:

- EverQuest 1
- Star Wars Galaxies
- Final Fantasy XI
- Ragnarok Online

However, any faction can potentially be featured if it shows enough activity, depending on how many are featured at the moment.
