Hehe, Will Wright was hilarious. Go about 31:00 minutes into the video, that was great.

The game itself looks funny, too, endless time of amusement, especially with it being online and everything. My only concern, like others, is the lag issue from such a huge game.

It's almost entirely offline.  The only time it goes online is when your ecosystem needs to find other people's characters to balance it out.  But it does look like lag will be an issue.

Its not actually online. It allows you to upload your alien race/planets/whatever you control, and other people can download them and have them in their own game.

Whatever they do to your planets, happens only in their game. It has no effect whatsoever on your game.

And that pretty much rules out lag.. Its not live off the net.

Anyway. Correct me if im wrong on any of that, but thats what i've picked up along the way.

Hey if you want to play god might as well as pop in the old cd of Black and White or play Age of Empires: Rise of Rome then select all the units you build and keep pressing delete as you watch them die. Talk about absolute power and control over people.

Even if Age of Empires 3 has the Havok engine, there wouldn't be a an Age of Empires 3 without Age of Empires or Rise of Rome.

So? Rise of Rome is the history now. AoE 3 ftw, now. Like... Who ever plays Warcraft I now? Seriously, barely anyone even still plays Warcraft II now But just because if they hadn't been made WoW and WC 3 wouldn't exist doesn't mean anyone cares about them any more
