y is it so expensive? I mean, wont you be able to get them this year for runescapes birthday?

Actually, they were never dropped. CHRISTMAS CRACKERS were dropped for Christmas 2001, and when used on another player would give each player (the one using the cracker and the one having it used on) a random party hat.
Halloween 2001: Pumpkins (Heal 14)
Christmas 2001: Christmas Crackers containing red, blue, green, white, yellow, and magenta Party Hats
Easter 2001: Easter Eggs (Heal 14)
Halloween 2002: red, blue, and green Halloween Masks
Christmas 2002: Santa Hats (+3 to magic equipment stat... not the actual magic skill)
Easter 2003: Bunny Ears (One per player, cannot be traded or sold, not seen by others if dropped, reappear in inventory upon death unless in bank)
