Rule 12 - Real World Item Trading
RuneScape items must only be exchanged for other items/services within the game.
Exchanging RuneScape items for items or other benefits in other online games, real-life money or other real-life benefits is not allowed.

Just as a note if you use a site to buy items it's not against the rules IF you use runescape money (gp) but as Kaiser said it is against the rules to buy items with real life money and viceversa. This counts on all currencies. 
(What I mean by for RS gp is on these forums with the market, all trades there are done in game but the forums allow a "meeting place" but everythings paid for with RuneScape GP not real money).

They would be stealing your money.
You must remember, the items/characters do not belong to any player of the game. All characters/items are sole property of Jagex LTD.
So it's really illegal for people to sell something that doesn't belong to them.
Also. GP doesn't exist. And it can easily be lost in the game. And HALF the time, your items aren't even delivered. Your money is just taken.
Just don't do it.
