Heres my opinion on this.

if a girl gets a peice of hair of a guys shirt it's considered she's being nice.
If a guy gets a peice os hair of a girls shirt it's weird and flirty.

If a girl invites a guy to a party ect. she's a good friend.
If a guy invites a girl to a party he wants a date.

^^Thats how society (including myself and everyone else) generally accepts it^^

In my opinion sexual Bias is HUGE, and not (in inocent cases) actually intened.
I find as a guy, who has a large girl-friend percentile (%70 of my friends are girls) it is hard to be a friend and good person without other thinking you "want them" or want to date them.

Not necessarily, Mainly depends on who you're doing what to, and how that person values you as a friend TheSmile.gif

I mostly agree with Rat, except in my case I don't really think that way at all. I seriously doubt I'm the only one ponder.gif .

He stated in his first post that he's a guy, no need to post this over and over.

whos rat? conf.gif

i actually have no opinion over this, i don't even know exactly whats being talked about.

but it is kinda wierd that people seem to think that girls have to do everything and if a guy does something for a girl... its just plain wierd... i don't think this is how things should work.

i actually have no gender at all (joking) so you don't have to say anything about me.... i'm nuetral in everything.... hormones..... body structure.... the way i think..... that-thats just about it.

I agree with Rat as well....it depends on who does what to who.

And I'm female, but have mostly male friends.....so that reinforces my view. And as an example: I'm quite affectionate towards one friend in particular (and he knows who he is, as well as the rest of the 'group'), but that doesn't mean I want to date him and/or vice versa, it just means that we're very good friends.

And since I'm starting to ramble now, I'll stop whilst I still make sense grnwink.gif

I'd say this is true in general, but in many cases it is not. I have no further comment currently (brain fried Flush.gif ).

The second you define "identity" you define "bias". Welcome to reality.

Yes, I mean I treat them differently. Girls (well atleast the hot ones) are fragil little things. With guys you can just punch them in the arm and no one will care.

EX: One day I was talking that this girl just punched me like 3 times in the arm. So I punched her back (softly). For about 1 day everyone was talking about me punching the girl . I punch my friends in teh arm all the time (the guy ones). No one realy cares about it.

^^PUT THIS IN YOUR SIG ASAP!

why are girls considered fragil? men might be hulkier and have more muscle, but that doesn't mean that women aren't as strong.

my opinion on why girls are considered fragil is that it is a self made fact to make us boys repect them and be thier slaves... girls are just mean like that.... a guy doesn't care what the other guy does, but when a girl gets involved, they are reaally mean about it... girls seem to rally care what the other girls do too... example: i walked out of the locker room (the one i was suppost to be in)after gym, and a group of girls were just fine until one said a harmless thing and a huge argument exploded out of them. *closes ears*

These biases exist for a reason. More often then not, they ARE true. I'm not saying that all asians are doctors or something like that. It just so happens that there are a lot of asian doctors. The same goes for gender biases. I flirt with girls all the time. If I do something that isn't flirting, but someone calls me on it, I have only myself to blame for all the flirting I've done in the past. In the case of classes, such as the male gender, I have only all the men in my society to blame. bluetongue.gif Screw you guys!!!
