I'm VERY good friends with a well established and quite famous rapper, so I do take offense to some of the things being said. I enjoy certain types of the music and I agree that some is fairly violent, but not all are like that. I can see where people's racist views also affect their opinion.

i've only ever heard one song that was rap that i liked.... that was something that i heard by chance on a radio at my friend's house.

now, heres another quesion, if you hate rap and hip-hop... do you like celtic, bagpipe, riverdance, classical, ect.?

anyways... some rap and hip hop songs are ok but what i hate is when they try to disguise the words and little kids end up listening to it and theyr disguised phrases about sex, drugs, pimps, etc. but not all of it is bad

i hate that... and i just hate the idea that these styles are condidered "music"

I don't totally hate the genre, but generally I don't like rap.
