Oh that's awesome to hear! TheSmile.gif

Guilds Wars is basically like your normal MMORPG game. In the original game, you follow the Prophecies storyline where you save the land of Tyria, and in the expansion, you follow the Factions storyline where you save the land of Cantha. bluetongue.gif

There are 8 classes to choose from, 6 if you only have Prophecies. The Warrior is your normal melee combatant, the Ranger is the bow-wielder, the Mesmer creates illusions to hinder and hurt opponents, the Monk heals and uses holy magic in combat, the Elementalist controls the four elements of nature to their bidding and the Necromancer to summon minions and control death. In Factions, you have two additional characters to choose from. The Assassin uses daggers to swiftly hinder and kill enemies and the Ritualist summons spirits and channel energy to deal damage and support others.

You can choose a primary profession (e.g. Ranger - this will be how your character looks) and then a secondary profession so you gain the use of two professions. However, you will only be able to access primary attributes for your primary profession e.g. Mesmer primary is the only class to benefit from Fast Casting, Warriors from Strength. So you can have a class like Warrior/Ranger which will look like a Ranger and will benefit from Strength (Warrior primary attribute) however will not benefit from Expertise (Ranger primary attribute). You will however be able to access all the normal attributes of each class e.g. the Ranger's Beastmastery, Warrior's Swordsmanship.

It's really fun. You don't have to know all about the game to start off with as you can learn really quickly while playing the game. TheSmile.gif
