The way to improve the damage that you do on things you are attacking is, obviously, by training. Or you could purchase a better weapon. If you want to improve, then you just need to train until your stats improve a little bit. TheSmile.gif

Yeah what he said lol. As you're new I thought it would be a good idea to let you know that generally melee does the most damage however mage is more effective. Range is the most effective but does less damage so maybe you'd like to think about you're primary class judged on that OR like me you can just do 'em all!

Yeah. Range is a GREAT path to take. Although melee might seem the most promising choice, there are always some disadvantages. My pure is a ranger/mage (which i consider to go in the 'range' catergory) and its hard and fustrating to level up at first when you can hardly do any damage. As with melee, the better the weapon the higher the hit. Better arrows, bows, and range gear boost your ranging stats and help you with leveling up.

Check out this ranging guide from zybez if you haven't already: http://www.zybez.net/skills.php?id=7

Good luck with ranging and don't give up!
