This proverb I chatted in Runescape has turned out to be a parable of sorts as I think few really understood the depth of what I meant. Therefore, I will explain the parable.
The more readily understood meaning is that words can cut down people a lot harder than just pking their character. Yes, this is true but not entirely what I meant. I wasn't really meaning that we should abuse others in chat. Nor did I recommend this to anyone.
Another meaning some have perceived is that I meant that words can start or end large disputes. While this is most certainly true and the immediate level of understanding I knew would be thought of by my words, I did mean something more deep than this.
What I really meant was is that the war of Runescape has turned bigger than PKing. Players have been seeking to become Player Moderators and getting others banned apparently has been the way to get there.
Therefore, there have been players who have used words as an entrapment for other players to break Jagex rules in chat. They would report that player's breaking of rules and get them banned from Runescape. It is a permanent PK, which I refer to as a PB, a Player Banning.

PBing someone
The game of Runescape is not just about PKing, which I have often said, since it is an RPG. But now even more so. The new level of combat in Runescape is PBing.
I will mention that I have employed this method of PBing myself. I got PKed once and returned to haunt my killer. He cursed me, I reported him, Jagex banned him, then I told his friend what I did. Muahahahahaha. I can't deny it was a good kick.
If I had actually tricked him into cursing and breaking Jagex rules, I would say that would be unethical, but I didn't do that.

What is UFF's stance on PBing?
Reporting those who break Jagex rules and getting them banned is within the values of UFF.
However, encouraging others to break Jagex rules, even and especially by trickery, is against Jagex rules and therefore against UFF values also.
Remember Jagex may ban you if you try to do this trick on someone. They have banned PB SCAMMERS before and even lately.

How you do PBing
If there is someone you don't like in Runescape and you happen to catch him breaking Jagex rules, then go ahead and PB him. Do not employ traps and trickery, though, as that would be a scam, a PB SCAM.
Jagex is continually tightening up on the rules and so much to the point where the whole game of Runescape is redefined by the new skill, yes skill, of Player Moderator. They have a secret score on players of their experience they keep track of. It is a progressed to and attained skill for the greatest most part.
Runescape redefined. New combat of PBing?
The entire game of Runescape is redefined by having Player Mods which results in the new game play method of PBing. Personally, I don't like what the Runescape game has turned into by the way players can become powerful moderators to be able to track other players in Runescape and cause a terrible in balance in the game with these super-powers.
I didn't make this game or call it something it is not. I may be calling it something for which it was not intended but that is not my fault. I am just being frank, candid and honest about this. Jagex is the one who comes up with, what I consider, an incredibly screwed up way to play the game now. Nonetheless, I do recognize the Runescape game for what it is now. It is a new game of PBing because Jagex made it so.
Applying UFF values to the changing game of Runescape isn't always easy but if you know our values well enough, what we are supposed to do becomes clear.
Beware of the PB Scam!
The method of PBing has been most effectively done by two players against one. The lower level 2nd character of someone pulls the trick on the targeted player to get him to chat something against Jagex rules, like saying a website name or misspelled cursing.
The main character then subsequently reports the target character, which is not to easily blamed for pulling a trick, since it was the 2nd character that had actually done the trick. If the 2nd character gets banned it is not a great loss, since it was only a low level character.
This method can backfire on the PBers if they check IP addresses so they may try doing this by connecting to different internet servers.
This has been an effective PBing strategy. Real nasty, huh? This is the world of Runescape now, like it or not.
Now, do you all see how "Words are more powerful than PKing".
Be free and be yourselves.
