do you have to buy land in runescape before you can build your own house?

i'm f2p, but i would like to know this type of thing before i become a member and almost immediately build a house.

ps. where do you get the tools to build the stuff such as a saw, or can you just get planks, nails, a hammer, etc. and build?

Well, first you go to varrock to the estate agent. You buy a house in Rimmington for 1k, and you can go to it right after that. The house at the beginining is a bit shabby, but you build it up. Saws you can get from the sawmill guy, who is a little east of the Jolly Bar Inn below the wild. You can also get planks from him for a cost. You have to make your own nails.

If you start, I would really recommend getting quite a bit of money first.. it's a very expensive skill icon_sweatdrop.gif

Also, please read RuneHQ's Guide to PoH. It helps a lot TheSmile.gif
