Clans with restrictions to receiving members only of a particular level or higher should be exhorted to receive players of all levels instead, but to maintain wilderness teams of restricted levels as they deem suitable. This is the reform needed in the mainstream of Runescape clans. They need to stop building exclusive clubs where only the gay players are invited.

We of UFF recognize there exists at times the need to have wilderness teams of particular levels for more effective combat. This is not always true, but for a number of battle scenerios, this does remain a need. UFF wilderness team leaders are free to select their own trusted teammates. Wilderness Team Leaders are to be respected in their by-example leadership.

Clans with oppresive rules should drop such. Clans with overlording and bossy leaders should have their leaders confronted to change their methods under threat of being ousted.

It's a good thought doki, but i don't think clans with restrictions would care
what we have to say.

I myself don't see how u can call a clan "gay"
You cant make them change there combat restrictions.
I thought uff was for freedom isn't forcing someone to do something waving the right to freedom?

And saying a gay is gay is offering yourself for flaming for the start edit that word out for a word like ermm..
you decide it is uff after all headbang.gif

Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda. With the mass number of players that exist in the game, and the number of clans that DO have restrictions, I don't see how a complete reform is possible.

Req. Clans are a fact of the game. Like needing a background check is needed for employment. It's like having a resume for a job. Would you hire an untrained bum off the street to help run your accouting business?

Underlined part: Yes it is. It totally is. Take a group of people ranging from lvl... oh I don't know.. 3 to 124. Who would live? The point of wilderness team combat is to make sure EVERYONE comes out alive with something. If you take a group of high leveled players and let some lower level tag along, he'll be the first target, and you know it. And you know who's fault it would be if he died? The guy that allowed him to come.

Fine. Go ahead and confront them. Bring us a list of all who comply and drop their requirements. And not just any freewebs based clan, bring us some clans from the "RuneScape top 100".

This reform needs to start somewhere, it isn't going to start with the leaders of these clans. The UFF movement has to start with other clans members that are being lorded over, that's where the reform starts. If most of the members quit a clan because they wanted reform, don't you think that the leader would make some kind of changes to get them back?

Many clans probably wont care, but the ones that do will encourage even more reform in other clans.

Darkskull, if you want to be the partner of one of the Wildnerness team leaders then that has to be what you do. Go to the pk trips and help out as much as you can, your actions speak more than your words thumb.gif

Not trying to shoot anyone down.. But you should be aware of this fact.

Most people who are in these clans choose to be. Nobody makes them join.

Even if they choose to be in those clans, something will end up angering them, I have known a lot of people who have gotten really tired of the clan leaders raising the req. for joining and staying in a certain clan. This movement is for people who are tired of things like these. The ones that choose to be in clans can still care and can still cause reform.

When requirements are raised the people who dont meet them are kept in the clan, or are these more noname freeweb clans?

And i dont think ive ever ever been pissed off just because i had to meet a certain level :S Why exactly do you have to MAKE everyone else do the same? Cant you just stop having this elitest attitude you all hold to yourselves and accept noone cares about the UFF or even heard of it.. If people dont like requirements then they can find UFF similar clans, if people like requirements then they can go do what they choose to do.

Dont see why you need to ram this stupid movement down everyones throats.
