In response to my "Discussion For UFF" thread, Dokimos apparently broke the merge. It seems that I was mistaken when it came to UFF's definition of freedom, but that is history now and shouldn't be a concern for SeeD.

So the merge has ended. Members of UFF are still welcome to come here to hang out or be involved in SeeD if they wish, but UFF is not to organize here as a clan any longer beyond the potential for joint events. Unless Dokimos wishes to work with us, as we have been trying to work with him, the merge will remain history.

As a corollary, SeeDs are to stop getting on UFF's case, and UFF is to stop getting on SeeD's case. With the end of the merge that caused it, the conflict should logically cease.

I do not intend to hurt anyone with my thread, but I feel that it is necessary that I explain what is happening. UFF's old forum was archived (still viewable by members) and the background field was removed.

This forum may be temporary. It depends on whether or not someone wishes to take it somewhere, even to pick up a similar but more benign group along lines similar to UFF. Since SeeD does not have a one-clan rule, this is also open to those who are in UFF. If this Garden is not taken anywhere, it will probably be archived along with the previous Garden.

So unless events cross again and Dokimos wishes to re-establish the merge, it will remain dissolved. SeeD will provide no pressure either way and will have no part in affecting the now separate UFF.
