Ranger Abilites

Note: Rangers DO NOT require bows to use any abilities listed here. They, by default, have a bow without effects.

- Use Bow (0): EC=0; DP=4: Fires a projectile that can do minor damage to anyone in your region (must post in location for the arrow to hit the target). This ability does not require a bow to be equipped nor even physically obtained.

- Detect Disturbance (200): EC=0; Effect = Make a post requesting all invisible characters in region to reveal themselves as long as you're there.: Will allow you to see all hidden characters.

- Poisoned Arrow (200): EC=150; Effect = Target loses next turn, though can move: Renders target unable to attack for one turn. - Credit to Amazonqueen

- Night Vision (500): EC=0; DP=0: Will allow you to see in the dark (always in use after the required post count).

- Hide (700): EC=0; Effect = Invisibility, but must make entrance post in the exact same location as you left: Makes you invisible in your region. Remains active until the next action, you enter a location, or you leave the region.

- Forage Antidote (700): EC=100; Effect = Heal poison: You find a nearby herb that can cure poison.

- Ambidexterity (1100): EC=0; DP=0: You can hold two weapons (weapons that don't require both hands).

- Bow Mastery (1400): EC=0; DP=20: Can launch two arrows at the same time (as long as they are normal arrows). - Credit to Amazonqueen

- Forage Healing Herb (1700): EC=200; Effect = Heal 50 HP: You find a nearby herb that can heal some damage.

- Silence (2000): EC=0; Effect = Invisibility until attack/ability is used: Can use for travel; You will remain invisible to all who cannot see invisible characters, and can move with this in effect. This will lose its effect when an ability is used or a target is attacked.

- Fire At Point-Blank (2300): EC=0; Effect = Allows a bow to be used as a melee weapon: Mastering the use of a bow as well as the dexterity and sense of a hunter, the Ranger is able to use a bow at point-blank range if desired.

- Light Arrow (3000): EC=500; DP=Normal bow damage + 100 against Darkness: Does more damage to Dark targets.

- Dark Arrow (3000): EC=500; DP=Normal bow damage + 100 against Light: Does more damage to Light targets.

Rider Abilites

REQUIREMENT: NONE
A rider is a master of mounts of all kinds. By riding anything from horses to chimaeras, a rider is able to give himself/herself an advantage in battle. A rider must, however, purchase or earn his/her own mounts.

- Vertical Advantage (1000): Persistent Effect While On A Mount = Increases your physical DP output when on a mount by 15: A rider is able to use his/her position on a mount to gain the upper hand in a battle... Literally.

- Charge (2000): EC=1200; DP (While on a mount): Normal attack damage + 50: If correctly handled, attacking from a mount charging at the enemy will do significantly more damage than otherwise.

- Riding Companion (3500): Effect While On A Mount = Allows one additional character to ride with the rider on the same mount; All of the rider's persistent effects also affect the companion: With greater control over a mount, a rider can potentially ride with a companion.

- Quick Escape (4500): Effect While On A Mount = Allows an instant escape from combat once per day; must move to a connected region: A rider is not only better at combat from the back of a mount, but a rider is also trained at riding swiftly. This can be essential when a battle goes wrong.

- Mounted Fury (6000): Persistent Effect While On A Mount = Increases your physical DP output when on a mount by 35; replaces Vertical Advantage: A rider is able to use his/her mount and position to increase the power of his/her attacks.

Guane Wulfdancer Abilites

> Guane Wulfdancer: Guane Wulfdancer is often considered a guide today, though in ancient times was a great warden of storms. He and Lady Eranara are often at odds in an almost comical manner, for both consider their own powers superior and are trying to convince the other of this. Sometimes Guane even pranks Eranara with his various powers for his own amusement, although more often than not Eranara turns him into a tree for a few days as a result. However, Guane and Eranara are allies despite their perpetual competition, and each take care of their own force of nature. While Eranara takes care of nature's refuge, Guane takes care of nature's reckoning, and gives his followers some of his power so they can further his cause. Unlike Eranara who's followers tend to be those of the Nature alignment and elves, Guane's followers are all over the spectrum. Many spellcasters and druids follow Guane.

Effect of Devotion Points: Protection of Nature: Effect: Damage done to follower reduced by 1 x Devotion Points when in a Connection Region: Guane looks after his followers and will grant them protection in his domain.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 3: Illusion of the Wolf: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Those who follow Guane are often capable of changing form into a wolf.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 6: Illusion of the Bear: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Those who follow Guane are often capable of changing form into a bear.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 8: Illusion of the Lion: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Those who follow Guane are often capable of changing form into a lion.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 11: Illusion of the Shark: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: This illusion gives one the ability to travel into the Sea region through ports when initially not in battle.

Effect if Devotion Points are at least 17: Illusion of the Hawk: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Sometimes the only escape from a situation is up, and to give this option followers of Guane are sometimes provided with the form of a hawk. This can be used anywhere, but in an outdoor location (and outside of battle) can allow entrance into the Sky connection region. The character's stats in the air would be the same as those on the ground. To prevent open travel for anywhere, the character in the form of the hawk must land at a Skyport.
