[Darkness]

Before you opens a wide cave mouth. The first thing you notice is how smooth and uncracked the cave walls seem to be. There are four torches lining the walls about ten feet in, and then there's darkness. Smooth, unbroken, silent...

[Snowy]

Rhesal heads in without hesitation, grabbing one of the torches on his way in.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym grabs a torch and follows behind Rhesal.

[Darkness]

They walk along, the only thing breaking the silence being the heavy footfalls of the warrior and the lighter footsteps of the summoner. It seemed this cave was totally uninhabited. Suddenly, just before them, there seemed to be a small rockslide and a few perfectly formed rocks fell from the wall and into the adventurers' path. Suddenly the rocks seemed to be taken by some magical force and rose up from the ground, forming a sphere about the size of a large boulder, perhaps about twice the size of two globes of Earthia.

The shape began rolling around, and then, before either of the two Aphorites could respond, a round portion of the sphere rose up off of the rest. Out of the hole came what seemed to be the upper portion of a knight, but made of stone and much more squareish. The round part of the sphere that had come up appeared to be a shield that was attached to its right hand, and in its left was a sword of stone, though a sword sharp and strong as any steel could be.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym calls out to the stone knight.

"Who goes there?"

[Snowy]

"I don't give a rat's {expletive antidisestablishmentarianized by Cspace} who that is. He's scary as hell." Rhesal unsheathed his Knight's Sword and his Sword of Snow.

- Ambidexterity (0): EC=0; DP=0: Can hold two weapons at the same time (as long as the weapon does not require both hands).

[Neraphym]

Neraphym begins to summon a cosmic elemental.

The knight suddenly withdraws into it's sphere, the shield fitting in as the lid. Before anyone knows what's happening, it has rolled around to behind Neraphym, withdrawn from it's shell, and sliced across his back.

Neraphym takes the hit to the back and stumbles forward a bit. His concentration on the summoning is uninterrupted, though, as the ring of concentration is activated.

Rhesal threw his Knight's Sword at the stone knight and watch as it bounce off. He caught it with ease and ran at the stone being, swords raised. He sliced with them as hard as he could, causing only a few cuts and cracks into it's stone body.

The Centurion rolled around again and slashed at Neraphym.

Neraphym falls to one knee, but his concentration remains unaffected.

Rhesal ran up to the big stone creature and did kicked himself off of it's chest, doing a backflip. In midair he used both of his swords to scissor cut the stone knight's hand that held the sword. It only left cuts on each side of the stone knight's arm about an inch deep.

The Centurion suddenly withdraws into its hard shell and zooms straight at Rhesal, colliding with him almost instantly.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym completes the summoning ritual. A small orb of energy forms in front of him and begins to grow. The energy expands slowly at first, then picks up speed. The ball of energy suddenly stops growing, but becomes extremely unstable. A small shadowy figure inside the energy emerges.

Cosmic Elemental: "Annihilate..."

The Cosmic Elemental floats over to the Stone Centurion. It sends out part of its unstable energy field and assaults the Stone Centurion with it. The energy eats away at some of the stone, turning it to dust.
