Neraphym ducks behind a metal crate.

As the bullets begin, Oric dashed towards the crates. He was not, however, fast enough. A bullet bit through his armor and lodged itself in his leg. He collapsed to the ground, attempting to get back to his feet. His leg gave out, and he almost fell to the ground again. He pulled himself towards the crates, but it was barely fast enough...

[Snowy]

The bullets deal 100 Damage Points each. The gun moves to where the two are hiding and continues to fire. A bullet ricochets off one of the crates and hits the cord holding the gun up.

The gun falls down and spins around wildly, shooting off bullets. At that same moment a small troop of Karloran guards came through the door, looking for the intruders. The gun takes down five of them before they realize what's happening. The gun overheats and the bullets stop. The five remaining guards look around at their fallen comrades, wondering what happened.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym's Cosmic Elemental sends a surge of energy through one of the Guards, searing its body. Neraphym darts out from behind the crates and sends a blast of energy from his Ring of Convergeance at the burnt guard.

The Karloran Guard who was hit by the cosmic elemental shoves the guard next to him. The Guard next to him was hit by Neraphym and he shoves back at the other guard.

After quite a bit of shoving, a third guard breaks them up pointing at the intruders. "Buhhhh?????"

Oric had collapsed behind the crates when he had finally gotten there, removing his leg's armor and surgically removing the bullet. Groaning slightly, he tore a piece of his tunic off and wrapped it around his wound as a makeshift bandage. He stood up slightly, stooping to remain lower than the crates, bending and flexing his leg to make sure it circulated properly.

Hearing the inhuman shrieks of dying Karlorans, he glanced above the crate and saw a troop of them being fired down, only five remaining when the bullets stopped. Retrieving his weapons, he lunged out and dashed towards a Karloron as fast as he could, swinging his weapons, taking one down in a single hit.

"BUHHHHH!!!!!!" A Karloran Guard pointed at Oric, who had just killed his brother. The Karloran took out his bomb spore and, after fumbling around with it for awhile, threw it in Oric's face releasing the toxic gas right up his nose.

The other injured guards started hitting each other again. Eventually they pulled out their swords and they killed each other.

The other guard pulled unsheathed his dagger and stabbed Neraphym in the calf with it.

Neraphym takes out his staff and bashes the guard that stabbed him. His Cosmic Elemental comes over and blasts the guard, too.

Oric stumbled backwards, coughing into his elbow. He then killed the Karloron who had thrown the bomb.

The last Karloran looked blankly at his dead comrades. This Karloran Guard was considered the "smartest" of the group so he was the temporary captain on this expedition. "Ha ha! Your outnumbered!"

The Karloran guard unsheathed his sword and threw it at the Oric. Without looking to see if it hit, the guard turned and ran.... right into the wall. He fell back unconscious, his face bleeding green ooze.

[Darkness]

Oric easily dodged it, and limped forward a few yards. Raising his sword a few feet up, point down, he stabbed the creature in the middle of its face.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym and his Cosmic Elemental, henceforth known as Cosmo, make for the door.

[Snowy]

As they enter the door, they see a Plasma Barrier. A lone Karloran Guard is running towards you on the opposite guys, strapping on his sword. "Guys wait for me! Wait for..." As he hit the barrier he was vaporized.

[Darkness]

Oric follows.

[Neraphym]

"Hm, we need a way to get around that barrier. Plasma is really hot gas. Maybe if we cool it down, it will dissipate..."
