Aww... and I thought I had one of my Christmas presents sorted out early today...
Mary offered to get me the wine instead but it turns out she had the wrong wallet and it was her boyfriend's one, not hers. So no present today. I'll just have to wait for Gary.

And oh my eff-ing god I just got the biggest shock of my life. So Gary listens to the same music as me and his favourite band is even Nightwish... and he's so awesome and stuff. HE LIVES IN MY AREA. LIKE ABOUT ONE OR TWO STREETS AWAY.
I need to lie down and recover from the shock or something. Seriously.

Bleah.
The power jack on my iRiver decided to partially break off of the motherboard. So now it only works when I hold it in a particular position.
This is slightly complicated by the fact that its internal battery has been dead for some months, making an external battery pack (or AC adapter) a necessity... a necessity which connects through the power jack, naturally.
Bleah.
Time to whip out the soldering iron and hope I don't end up with a brick. >_<
(Oh, and most of my music is on there, sans what I've gathered in the last few months. So... yes. >_<)
