As you enter the inn, you immediately note the strange gadgets in cases that line the walls. Half of them look so strange you wouldn't even begin to be able to fathom their use, though some look a bit more normal. As a man in the corner stands up, and moves away from the table, towards the bar, his chair pushes itself in on its own. Glancing at the nearest table, you'd see that the chairs are rigged on some kind of mechanism that makes it able to move back and forth. You wouldn't be able to find, however, how it makes itself do it on its own.

Moving up to the bar, the barkeeper, a short, chubby human, would call to you, "W'hey there! And might I inquire how a fine chap like you is doing on such a day? We have several accomodations. Would you like a drink? Or perhaps a room? Whatever it is, you'll find the Tinker's Gadget can likely supply it!"

You'd then see a strange, brownish liquid that looks oddly like oil in a mug. As you'd inquire as to what it is, the bartender would quickly grab it and place it under the bar, saying, "Oh.. Err, nothing."
