Rhesal orders the engineer crew to set up camp," Okay boys, I want camp up in four hours!!! You know what we need! Five bunkers and three mess halls! We are still awaiting orders from the Ascent!" Rhesal leaves the crew to their work, and goes and explores the planet.

Rhesal crashes through some foliage and encounters a horrid site. He had just came into view of a large clearing, and it seemed like the Karloran Rebellion was setting up camp less than four hundred yards from the D.A.S.E. camp.

Rhesal ran back to base.

Rhesal flipped open his communicator,"Neraphym! alert alert! Karlorans near base!" Rhesal pauses..."I think it's Nero."

[Neraphym]

"Neraphym here. You said there were Karlorons? I'll be right there. If they attack, hold them off as long as you can. ETA is 2 hours, sit tight!"

[Snowy]

"Yes sir! Shall I..." But that was all Rhesal got to say before the communicator blew up in his hand. Rhesal whirled around and saw a large Karloran monster with a pistol in his right hand and a gatling gun for a left arm.

"Halt. Surrender to the Rebellion."

"Go {expletive ninja'd by Cspace} yourself." Rhesal drew his Sword of Snow and Ikrisen. "FOR DASE!!!!!!" Rhesal screamed as he ran at Kurnk. He got to about 10 feet in front of the monster before his knees gave way. He looked down and saw two bullet holes in each knee.

He was on his knees, making his way to Kurnk, when he saw Gurtrail. "Nero? Nero! For Eranara's sake help me!" Gurtail leveled the giant .45 he held in his bionic right arm. "Nero?" Then Gurtrail pulled the trigger, leaving a bullet hole the size of a large marble in Rhesal's head.

Rhesal fell to the ground, dead.

[Neraphym]

"Rhesal, come in! Rhesal! Can you hear me?"

"Damn..."

Neraphym hops on his ship and makes for Arcturus 5.

Five D.A.S.E. engineers grabbed their Dark Matter rifles and went after the Karlorans, firing rapidly. Kurnk throws a grenade in their midst.

The grenade is caught by a engineer known by his friends as Allen "Butterfingers" Bartobin. He attempts to throw the grenade back and he slips, letting the grenade fall and kill them all. Way to go Allen. Way to go.

Along the wall of the base, four automatic plasma turrets come out of hatches and aim themselves at the Karloron troops. The base goes into a full lockdown mode.

The turrets begin firing at the Rebellion Infantry (Heavy) things!

The turrets manage to take out one of the Karloron Heavy Infrantry. The rest open fire with their Plasma Bazookas on the turrets. Kurnk throws a grenade at one of the turrets, destroying it.
