Sure, they're a bit old. But, ya gotta admit, they're classics (well, 1-3 anyway... not that SA isn't good...)! Anyway, there is a fangame called Sonic Robo-Blast 2 (SRB2). There was an SRB1, but for all its good, it was rather buggy and had crap graphics. Moving on...

SRB2 is great. It has the feel of the classics, but is in a 3D world (like RuneScape, it isn't full 3-d... just sprites in a 3D world, like the DOOM games). It is made from DOOM 2, but plays nothing like it. You almost can't tell, because most of the DOOM stuff has been changed.

The demo right now has 3 zones of 3 acts each (final, if finished (I say "if" because it's been in development since 1998) will have 7 zones I believe). There is also a ton of secret stuff to unlock. For replay value, the SA "emblem" system exists as well: the first 2 acts of the 3 main zones have one emblem for each character to find, plus one emblem for beating the game, and one more for finishing with all the chaos emeralds.

THEN there's multiplayer. There are tons of multiplayer modes: Deathmatch, Co-op, Race, Tag, Capture the Flag, and Chaos. You can have up to 32 people and even play over the internet (Anyone up for a game? IM me on AIM)! Plus, there are a bunch of extra levels that are multiplayer-only. Of course, you can always download (or make) skins, levels, and other mods if you know how.

This game - even as a demo - kicks butt. Download it now! You must!

Hehe. It still needs some work though. It has a few bugs to be ironed out, and the Knuckles sprite is crap, but it's still pretty good. *Goes back to Castle Eggman Zone Act 2, where he was before it unexpectedly terminated last time*

UPDATE/BUMP: I now have all emblems except #20 (Which you get by beating the game with all 7 chaos emeralds... friggin' hard!). I also... BORROWED... Doom 2, and got a level editor. I'm working on a multiplayer level right now, which would be a lot easier if I could figure out how to put springs in the air. Oh well. In any case, when it's done I'm going to work on another level that will be available only here on SeeD Forums biglaugh.gif

Come on! Download it! I wasnt to get a game going of 32 SeeDs!
