So it has ended.

Some people gave Nightfall a go, some thought it was a bad idea. But it was pretty good, and I'm definately heading towards a gaming store on October 27th.

You can share anything you liked about the preview event here.

I liked the end part of the preview....

In Kamadan, Jewel of Istan, near the end of the preview event, I saw to Dervishes dancing. I danced too. I shouted, "CELEBRATE THESE LAST MOMENTS ON THIS EARTH DANCING!".

In two seconds, this is what happened.

Yes, I know, not very much people.... but everyone in Kamadan did dance. Only not in one place.

After that dance and the Nightfall event ended, I got this really rubbish looking, MS Worded certificate.

So, what do you think?

I loved the preview event, it gave those who played an insight as to what Nightfall would be like. grnwacko.gif

I'm really looking forward to the Hero system since they seem awesome! Not to mention the way they set it up so that changing your secondary profession was really quick and easy if that character previously had a different secondary class. biglaugh.gif

I actually forgot to take some screenshots though... so that kinda sucks. sad.gif

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^

How many five-year-olds could you take in a fight?
Red Carnation, Hibiscus. Spiderflower. White Violet... Peony?

I didn't get to play much, and I think I only got to level 4. What I saw was impressive though, I'm liking the look of it more than I did Factions. That new rank title was a nie touch, and I thought being ordered to kill specific creatures for extra exp and promotion points was a nice touch. It goes without saying that what I saw of the hero system was awesome. bluetongue.gif

I did like Nightfall, it seems better than Factions. The Heroes are a nice touch to henches bluetongue.gif . If farming isn't nerfed, I'll probably buy it.

What I liked about the Heros was that they knew everything you had already unlocked. So I could immediatly kit Koss out to be like a PvP warrior with elite skills, even though he was still only level 3. Nothing like seing a level 3 person with elites bluetongue.gif.

Plus, it means it's even better for the people that can't do without henchies *cough*.. Not only can they bring a computer controlled hero with them, but they can also select what skills they want to bring *and* can actually select the skills from a smaller, movable, optional Hero bar (which is just a smaller version of our own) to use.

For example, you want Koss to put Bleed status on an enemy then follow up with a Deep Wound status.. No need to wait, click the skill(s) yourself! There.

Oh, and also, the perfect thing for people who don't like henchmen to just follow you all the time, the ability to select a waypoint bluetongue.gif. So if you're not a tank character, just click for the henchmen to go in first using a waypoint, instead of just calling out the enemy and hope they do what they should (which they usually don't).
