Indeed, if you're scheduling something that isn't quite spontaneous, feel free to stick a notice on the calendar. It will put a notice at the bottom of the board index when the date draws near, and therefore give your event more visibility. The calendar should also be a resource for our members to check if they wish to see what is coming up. If your event isn't listed there, it's not entirely visible, and you probably won't get as many to come as would otherwise potentially come.

Yes, the calendar can be your BFF. If it's used enough, then it'll be easier for us to figure out what the heck is going on. biglaugh.gif
