Trabia's chat here. I'll start the convo.

What's your verdict to how RuneScape is heading? I think it will be for the worst. The community is just {expletive hax0rd by Cspace}.

If you checked out TipIt recently, there has been small news that some american companies(Venture is heading the pack supposively with stock in RS) are interested in buying the runescape product. I believe this is stemming from the WoW, EQ popularity and also the acknowledgement of MMORPGs in pop culture, namely South Park's "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode.

Something tells me that in the coming years, there will be a change of ownership.

If so, I hope they get bought by a company that actually provides, you know, customer service.

Wait, wait, wait. Lets hope if they are bought, then the company that buys them, acutally, makes the game have a better community. But, i guess that isnt possible. Unless they ban everyone.. bluetongue.gif

I'd say "enforce the rules" falls under "customer support," but meh.

Don't expect more customer support without an increase in membership price. :\

Runescape is gettiing better atm, but I expect probably something to go wrong =\

I think the game still has a few good years to come. Everything has a downfall.

F2P has a community? Though, I do have fond memories of being a freebie... years ago. Too crowded and has a lot of scumbags now. :/
I don't see why Jagex would sell their only profitable game when they get foreign moneys as it is. Why put in a middle man or sell something and loose it when you can just raise the price slightly?
