When PvPing, you need fast skills for example: Flare because it doesn't recharge. I use it all the time, quicker skills are better.
Yep, we'll definitely be using some skills which recharge quicker than other skills. Flare isn't such a good idea in PvP though. This is mainly because in PvP, many people are constantly moving and strafing, meaning that projectile skills such as flare often miss. It's works great in PvE though.
The only level 20 I have is my w/(preferably) ele. I don't know if that'll help in any way, but I just wanted to put in my two cents.
When we do some GvG, we'll probably use Warriors with Elementalist as the second profession if we're going to be an offensive team. The main job of the W/E would be to harass the casters on the opposing team and use the skill "Shock" to knock down the caster when s/he is using an important skill, or to stop him or her from getting away.
I managed to capture Crippling Shot earlier today, so we just need to sort out when we will be going on the trip to the Team Arena

I know this sounds silly, but I was just wondering if we all have the Team Arena unlocked

Can you recomend any good skills for a level 9 E/W to use?

It's a bit of a gamble, but stocking Frozen Soil might also be useful. If we can spike effectively and take down their numbers quickly, not giving them the option to res is certainly an advantage. Perhaps it could also be good to go with some condition-inflicting bow attacks and combine that with Pestilence, to give their other team members something to think about. OotV will provide a small amount of life stealing, but a primary healer will still be necessary.
I'm liking the idea of using Frozen Soil. When we get enough people interested in GvG, we can definitely try this out. Andrew was saying that ranger spike builds are very successful. I think we have enough rangers for this now. It'll be a new experience for me though, having never been in a spike group, so I'll definitely need some practice.

It depends on how far in the game you are. As you get further, you have access to better skills. Flare is pretty good near the beginning of the game, as long as you keep an eye on your energy. I used to use Immolate pretty often, and I still do sometimes. But I can give you more information once I find out how far you are

Ok, I'll get on my Guild Wars going again after a 2 month hiatus and get the rusty-ness out of my system. I do have team arena unlocked so that won't be a problem. I might be on tomorrow due to school being closed (I love snow ^_^).

If you are having problems with enchantments. use OoA or Orders of Apostaty... removes all enchantments from foe... then use OoB instead of OoV and the Fury order cant remember which one... depends if we have warriors or not
Well, I have no idea when it comes to orders. And since one of the builds we'll probably be using in GvG is a ranger spike team, we'll need you! I know Goto can do this too, but I think we'll be needing his ranger! Oh well. Looks like we'll have to use a different build until Christmas, when you get your new laptop

Ah, well I also only have the original, I can help you in your quests and such. Although I probably have no idea how to do the bonus objectives in most of the missions, I can at least be a nifty tank >_<.

My ranger is horrible, I haven't even got the extra attribute points yet.
Ah well, I'll try to get that done when I have some time, and with some advice on how to play a Ranger I guess I could try a spike build. I seriously don't have a clue when it comes to rangers.

In factions, you do this thing after/before you get your secondary profession that is a test to see if your a true *Insert class here,* and you get alot of skills from that.
In (dunno how to spell but p) You have to do a tutorial and mission and then you get your secondary. When you do the mission you get into the main game and Tyria.
