Sounds like it was a pretty successful launch...

It would be interesting to see how many games were actually sold

Uh.. And? Is this topic to do about PS2?
Yes, PS/PS2 games could NOT be played on PS3, did they fix that? If so, why didn't they do they BEFORE realease..and if not..

I was reading an article on Twitch Guru about a guy that sold a PS3 for $15,000. Some people were so desperate to get the PS3 that they actually camped out weeks ahead. Added in one guy even said he used the money for his girlfriend's engagement ring to buy a PS3. I would hate to be that guy when his girlfriend asks what happened to him proposing to her. Probably would go something like this: "Oh honey what happened to the money for the engagement ring?" Boyfriend responds by saying, "Uhh I used it to by a PS3, but look it comes with a wireless controller and is a pretty color. Not only that, I *Coughs* I mean "We" can play the next generation of games on a high definition television." The girlfriend would most likely kick his you know what then leave him for that.
Added in the fact that there are barely any games to play and that he might not even have a high definition television.
Dee dee dee. (Pardon the sarcasm of course.)

$22.42 AUD an hour. I don't know how much that is USD.....

Works out to $17.34 USD an hour, apparently... which is quite good. (Most "casual" jobs around here seem to start at around $8.00 or $8.50 an hour; minimum wage is $6.75)
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.
