So I receive the question, "Why do we need to grow even more?" What is a guild that doesn't grow? What is a community that is satisfied with merely existing? Why be satisfied with mere stability, when we can become something greater? Why not set goals and try to reach them? Why not accomplish something?

If our members always thought that question, where would we be today I wonder?

**********************************************

Many of our members today never knew SeeD. They still don't know SeeD. They hear about SeeD, maybe, but they assume that SeeD is merely another name for CurvedSpace, a gaming community. Did we forget what SeeD was? Indeed, most of us have!

Let's rediscover SeeD! Let's put the dogmatic pessimism behind us and quit being hopeless. Let's find a goal and ignite the fire that was once SeeD. We may be in a different realm now, with the factions and everything else, but we aren't that much different. So we have groups that focus on their own games, so what? We're all a part of the same guild and the same community, and we can use the factions to our advantage! Who says that they are a handicap, they just blew our horizons wide open as we are no longer tied to a single game! I don't see our guild or community dividing as some once worried, do you?

So let's light that fire again, and find a goal for ourselves! Then we have something to shoot for, and eventually something to be proud of. Yeah, we revolve around games, but this is a lot more than that when one steps back to see what the community is. We have members all over the blasted planet, and we're interacting just as we would with the guy down the street when it comes to the games and the community.

Let's find a goal, and let every one of us find our strengths! We need leaders! SeeD still is as member-led as the day we began, yet that does nothing for a guild with no one willing to start anything of their own.

So let's find ourselves, set a goal, and get out there once again and promote our guild... Let's pull together once again and make your guild something once again.

So you think it's hopeless? You think SeeD isn't going anywhere? Then stay out of this thread and let the rest of us find the way! We won't be bogged down by naive, backward commentary any longer. The optimists are taking the wheel now. Let's turn things around and get back on the road.

How can SeeD return if it wasn't dead?! SeeD never was dead, we just expanded a little too quickly I think. And as soon as there was a little doubt, all our members gave up hope.

Doesn't help really bluetongue.gif

Everyone can do something. No matter how new/low in level/whatever you are. Promote SeeD! Recruit! Hold events! All this helps build up to make us the guild we once were! And we can do higher!
