As a side note, "Aderon" is a significant kingdom in our own forum RPG called "DarkStorm". Since we're a multi-game guild, for continuity our factions tend to have names related to our community. "Aderon" to us can be entirely different when it comes to our story... We just share a name within our guild.

This can be a cumulative story, and any member of the Legion of Aderon can reply to contribute their own parts to it! thumb.gif

The Legend of Aderon

It was deep within the Plane of Time itself where our story begins. Upon the actions taken to ultimately free Zebuxoruk, a group of stalwart adventurers would come close to attaining divine knowledge: The knowledge possessed by the deities themselves. After being freed by these adventurers, Zebuxoruk spoke of a coming disaster for the people of Norrath... Though before he could continue, Druzzil Ro appeared in hopes of protecting the knowledge from being heard by the mortals. She cast a spell to bring about a shift in time, which would undo the events that took place and send the adventurers back to Norrath.

It is believed that the group who discovered the Plane of Time eventually established an order known as the Legion of Aderon. They understood that the future was uncertain for the world, and agreed to guard the limited knowledge that they attained so that it would not be taken in others' pursuit of power. For generations the Legion continued to guard the knowledge that they had, and continued their pursuit of knowledge in hopes of avoiding the foreseen destruction of Norrath. Unfortunately they would not be capable of stopping the events from unfolding as warned by Zebuxoruk, which ultimately led to the Shattering.

The order disappeared for centuries following the Shattering. However, as the deities began to turn their focus back to Norrath, events would lead certain individuals to re-establish the Legion of Aderon with its original purpose. Seeking to rediscover their lost knowledge, these adventurers would set out on a quest of their own that transcends their cities' alliances.

They believe that good and evil are merely standpoints used to justify conflict, and that in the future only knowledge will save Norrath from the threats that now loom over everyone.
