What was the definitive proof that we live in a heliocentric system rather than geocentric?
Erm, just stabbing in the dark here, but was it because in the geocentric system, the other planets were observed to have awkward cycles, and the sun was the only one that seemed to have a circular path? Not sure if that's the definitive proof you're looking for >.<
