I know there are a lot of these, but one of my professors recommended this program, and it's actually quite good for the price (free). bluetongue.gif

If you work on math homework while at your computer, I'd recommend that you check it out, it may be more convenient (and faster) than using a TI-83/86/89 for a lot of stuff. You can also print graphs really easily, which can be good for some classes.

Just thought I'd point it out since it may be useful to some of us. thumb.gif

This would've been nice. Went through Calculus 1-3 and Linear Algebra without the use of a graphic calc. I was usually tapped out after paying for both classes and books. I passed, but could've done better.

I'm moving into Calculus right now (currently in Pre-Calc).. so this seems pretty nice, thanks for the link. TheSmile.gif

So how is it easier then the regular graph-calc?

How is this easier than the normal calculator?

I'm in algebra 2 now (I'm taking the "Lazy {expletive run over by Cspace} that refuses to take calculus" graduation plan)

You don't have to pull it out of your desk. bluetongue.gif

It's also a little quicker to have the graph and functions in the same window, edited with the mouse and keyboard. You can also click buttons to move around and do other things.

It doesn't do as much as a real graphing calculator, but it does a lot. What it does do, it will do a lot faster since your PC is doing the calculations.

Oooh, that's a handy program. I'll be installing that on my new laptop biglaugh.gif

My old laptop (Which was bought and imaged through the school) had another good graphing program, Graphmatica, but it doesnt seem to be entirely free. <_< 'twas good though.

Thanks for the link biglaugh.gif

Seems handy when you don't have your own graphing calculator...
