Murder Mystery Quest I'm hopelessly stuck

How do you take finger prints and what tools do you need to investigate different things, and ultimately, who dunnit?!?!
EDIT: i know how to take prints now!!!
EDIT 2: i have only bob's and the murderers fingerprint left, but guard says its not enough evidence!! what else do I need?!?!

Do you have the thread? If you don't, go to the room where you get the silver dagger, and investigate the window... If you have already done that, you need to use the floured flypaper on the knife. There are usually barrels in every room, search them, and fingerprint all of the things that are in the barrels. Then compare all of those fingerprints to the dagger fingerprint.
