Joe Strummer worked with some of the most innovative and respected independent filmmakers of recent times such as Alex Cox, Robert Frank, Aki Kaurismaki, Rudy Wurlitzer and Jim Jarmusch and was m
"It has been my blessing to share with the world an intimate portrait of such a passionate and humble man," Rude said in a statement "Joe was a true hero. His music changed people's lives. His love affected me profoundly. I am proud of the story he has allowed me to tell, but I would trade it all in a heartbeat to have him back."
3.The Clash=

4.THE MESCALEROS=
JOE STRUMMER & THE MESCALEROS classic Global A Go-Go track Mondo Bongo is featured on the soundtrack. The song is used in the movie 3 times for at least 2 minutes each time when Brad and Angelina meet and is their theme song!
5.Chumbawamba=
Chumbawamba have just released their latest album 'A Singsong & A Scrap'. It's another mighty fine offering from one of Strummersite's favourite bands. This long established anarchist group have come up with another heady mix of fine melody and uncompromising lyrics which should be on everyone's playlists.
Dial in track 8 and check out a fine, original version of Bankrobber. I recently caught up with singer Boff and he explained the group's fondness for the song.uch sought after by John Cusack to provide music for Grosse Pointe Blank.
