Everybody can rate this.

New additions to runescape:

    Multiple player characters
    Companions
    Animal Taming
    New Fatigue (hunger)
    New Herblaw

Multiple Player Characters
Basically, this is the ability to control multiple units while playing Runescape.
Of course, you have your main character, but if you could have extra units along with you, say, a dog, a friendly adventurer, and an imp, their abilities would enable you to do amazing things. This idea would allow for at least one hundred new items, and to implement, would take probably two years of programming. In order to gain access to this, you would need to go on a quest.

Quest: The return of Delrith
Requirements: Must have done demon slayer quest, 35 prayer, Black Knights fortress.

You would start off, in the streets of varrock, you talk to the Gypsy again.

Gypsy: Welcome again, my child. Something terrible is about to happen, and you have come to talk to me about it, correct?

You: 1:Wow! You're amazing! Yeah, I've coem to talk about that!
2:No. I didn't want to talk to some old smelly lady. Leave me alone! (Gypsy curses you, all your stats drop to 1 (like if you drink too much beer) and will recvover later.)
3:No, but good guess. Bye! (end conco)

Gypsy: Delrith has risen again, and the dark wizzards have summoned an army of monsters to destroy all of Runescape!

You: 1: No! Well, I have to help!
2: Oh well. Some other guy'll do it for me. (end convo)

Gypsy: Well, you must be off then! If you find out the location of their fortress, I may be able to send you there. You may want to talk to the king and see if you can get some soldiers. (gypsy pauses, suddenly a lesser demon appears and attacks you) Oh no! Quick, defeat it! They are already attacking!

After you kill the demon, you are suddenly in varrock (a different version), however, the guards have closed the gates, and the demons are trying to get in. However, this is the same varrock, but to make it so every time someone does this quest a whole bunch of demons appear outside varrock, a new map is mad. Go talk to the king, and he will give you 2 level 50 knights wearing full steal. They help you in battle, and by talking to them, you can equip them differently, and change their fighting styles, and see their stats.

Now you go to the guard and tell him that you are ready to leave. He tells you that there is a secret exit in the west bank, but you need to get the key. The key was stolen by an imp a while ago. You go walking through varrock, asking if people have seen an imp, and eventually, you will find 3 level 40 goblins about to atack an imp. you attack one of them, your knights will join in, as will the other two goblins. You can switch control to either of the knights to attack another goblin. After killing the goblins, the imp will introduce himself as "Oglibi" the theif. He tells you he likes shiny things, and found this key awhile ago. He is level 20, and joins your party. After going into the basement of the bank (the key only works in this version of varrock) you see a ladder, you go down, and exit near the champions guild. You head off into the fields and find a load of demons. You attack them and any nearby will attack you. They are all level 50 demon soldiers. after beating some, you see one of them talking to the leader, a level 100 Demon General. Listen to what they say, and you find out that their base in in a place called "Zerahcka, The forbidden realm". Go back to the gypsy, tell her, and you will be teleported there. The creatures in this area are 5 Demon Soldiers (level 50) and 2 Demon Guards (level 60). After killing the guards, a Summoner (lvl. 75) appears. He summons 10 imps to help fight. They are each level 10. Continue fighting, Eventually you will defeat them. One of the imps will run through a small door. Control Oglibi, and go through the doo. on the other side, you see a switch. Press it. This will open the doors. You and the knights can now enter. Now, you find your way to the top floor, and come to a room. Suddenly, The general appears. "YOU MAY NOT PASS!" He attacks your party. After killing him, you find the demon crest on the ground. Pick it up. Go through the door. Grand summoner will be there. "Do you dare challenge my army? We will destroy you! Face the new and impproved Delrith! (Black Delrith (Level 150) attacks you) As soon as you get it to 25% health, two more greater demons appear. Your people will begin to pray if with you, and 3 angels (level 85) join you, and heal your party. You defeat the demons, and then go to the Grand Summoner. "You will never beat me!" He attacks. He is level 350, so the angels are a great help. A fairy (level 35)flies out of nowhere and joins. You battle. If one of your people dies, the Fairy heals them to full, but then dies.

After destroying the grand summoner, you recieve the summon stone. Take it. Step into the new lighted square, and you are teleported to the Gypsy. She tells you to talk to the king. You head off to the king. He tells you to show proof that you killed the General and the Summoner. Use the Stone and crest on him. He believes you. He then tells you that the stone must be destroyed in oreder to prevent another attack. He says he heard some black knights talkinbg about a secret forge below their fortress. The forge can be used to destroy the stone. As for the crest, He tells you that the museum will buy it, and if you are a member, he will tell you that the museum is short of funds, so an antique shop would pay more.

Go to the black knights fortress. Underneath, you are attacked by a High Black Knight (level 70) Howevever, the imp left, as did all your other companions. Slay this guy, and use the stone on the forge, with a hammer. It asks you "Do you want to Hammer this will full strenght, or Full accuracy?" If you pick accuracy, It explodes, leaving cut gems: 2 DIamonds, 4 Rubies, 6 emeralds, and 8 Sapphires. If you chose Strength, It will explode into uncut gems of the same type and quantity. Now go back and tell the king you destroyed it. He gives you the right to purchase companions. Use the Demon Crest on the Museum curator (or if you are a member, and have finished SHilo VIlliage, the antique dealer) MC will give you 50,000 Gps for it. AD will give you 100,000 for it.

End quest: Rewards: 20,000 Experience in Attack, Strength, Hits, and Defence, as well as 30,000 Experience in two other skills of your choice, Ability to gain Companions, Access to new town of Orius (It's gated, Need permission from king, gain at end of quest after you destroy the stone) Orius teleport spell (Level 50 Magic) 50,000-100,000 Gold Pieces, and 5 quest points.

To gain control of a compainion Character, you rigth click, and select "Give orders" This allows you to gain control, feed, etc.

There are many more, but I have already spent One hour on the whole of this idea, so in a later post, I may detail the others. They are:
Horses, cats, dogs, wolves, giants, bears, Unicorns, etc.

NOTE: In order to get meat chunks, use a knife on cooked meat.

Animal Taming There is not much really to say about this. Simply, when battling, there is another option under types of attacks, and it is "Try to tame" after killing the animal, if you have a high enough level, You have a 50% chance of keeping the animal as a companion (with it at 1 hp left) This only works with non humanoid creatures, such as birds, bears, dragons etc. In order to tame, your taming level must be 1/3 of the creatures level, IE: to tame a level 255, you would need level 85 taming. Of course, you still need to kill the thing.

New fatigue: Hunger
This is a new "FAtigue" type thing. It is basically the same as fatigue, and is under the fatigue indicator. BAsically, it gains slowly, like 1% hunger every 30 seconds, (100% after 50 Minutes) and can be lowered by eating (or drinking)
Basic human intake is 2 times the ammount of healing the food gives.
However, doign hard work will certainly build up a little more fatigue, so doing a fatigue incresing thing would also give you hunger, however, it is only 1/3 of what it would be on regular fatigue.

New Herblaw
Finally, a complete redoing of herblaw. This new system will make it so you no longer have herbs growing from the insides of creatures stomachs, but acctually from plants. This would also add some ways of finding the second ingredient, as well as a few three ingerdient potions, and even a few fours.
of course, you can still get herbs by killing stuff.

first off, there are different types of plants to pick herbs off of.
Bellager Plant: Picking gives un IDed Guams, Marrentil, and tarromin.
Level 1 to pick, gives 2 xp. Grows Beside trees (Mcgrubors wood, and south lumbridge forest) Respawn: 5 seconds.

Paldine weeds: Gives tarromin and harralander. Requires level 20 to pick. gives 10 xp. Grows in very hot climates (multiple plants in the desert south of al kharid). Respawn: 10 seconds.

Galak Shrubs: Gives Ranarr, Irit, and Avantoe. Requires level 40 to pick. Gives 30 Xp. Grown in castle courtyards. Respawn: 20 seconds

Ethsaluuth Roots: Gives quarm through dwarf weed. Level 60 to pick.
Gives 60 xp to pick. Grows in caves, and in buildings in the wilderness. respawn: 40 seconds.

Zamorak fungus: Gives torstol. Level 76 to pick, found in the wilderness, in the graveyards. gives 100 xp. Respawn at 60 seconds.

Narrobeak Grasses: Found throughout the members world. Gives all herbs except Avantoe and up. EXp: 2 Respawn: 10 seconds. Required level: 10.

Second ingredients: aside from where we usually find them, here are some new ways of gaining them.

Newt Eyes: Newts found in swamps, level 10. Kill them for 2 newt eyes.

Unicorn horns: still the same.

Limpwurt root: located in caves, if you search fungusses in caves, you will get one limpwurt root. The fungus will then vanish for about 10 seconds.

Red SPiders eggs: SAme old way...

White berries: Found in shrubs near places of warship. Shrubs respawn every 20 seconds.

Snape grass is like grain. Find it in fields of grass, picking gives 50% nothing, 25% a random mouse, spider, or small creature, 25% snape grass.

Blue dragon scale found by killing blue/baby blue dragons. Babies drop one, Regulars drop 5.

Wine of Zamorak is the same way.

Jangerberries are found on trees in ogre Island, west of yanille.

Well, That was pretty cool. Now for soem new potions.

3 ingredient potions:
Mining Potion: Take Harralander, Ground dragon scale, and Limpwurt root. Level 25 to make. Increases mining by 20%. Exp: 70

Super fishing Potion: Take Avantoe, Snape grass, and Candantine, and mix together. Increases fishing by 20%. Level 60 to make. Exp: 137.5

Fighting potion: Take Guam leaf, Tarromin, and Ranarr weed, Mix together. level 35 to make. Exp: 82 Increases Attack, Strength, Defence, and Hits by 10%.

Magic Potion: take Ranarr weed, Eye of newt, and Red SPiders eggs. Mix together to make potion. Level 40 to make. Exp: 90 Increases Magic 20%.

Four Ingredient potions

Super Mining potion: Add Snape grass to Mining potion. Level 50 to make. Increases Mining 30%.

Super fighting: Mix Irit Leaf, Kuarm, Cadantine, and Jangerberries together.
Increases Att, Str, Def, and Hits by 30%. Level 70 to make. 160 exp.

Super Magic: Mix Dwarf weed with magic potion. Level 75 to make. 180 exp.
Increases magic by 30%.

there are a few flaws like the new hunger. it dosent tell what happends when its 100%. do you die or live? whats the point of hunger fautige when u have fautige that goes up with everything you do. the new suggestion maybe far too complicated for jagex to make sad.gif the rewards for the delrith quest is too enourmus! a lvl 350! ur crazy even though u have 2 white knights! with the prize money should be at least 5k-10k. Jagex would never put a reward that gives 50k-100k money for completing it!

QUOTE
Rewards: 20,000 Experience in Attack, Strength, Hits, and Defence, as well as 30,000 Experience in two other skills of your choice,
WOW! this is not the dragon slayer quest. this type of experiance should be only gained once and thats the dragon quest. even though u have to kill an almost undefitable level 350 this type of exp should stay below 15k.

i dunno how presidents rate but i can rate it rsc way TheSmile.gif

8/10

Heh, It's exactly like fatigue. I admit the rewards are steep, but a quest like this would give such a reward. I mean, fighting multiple 100+ monsters, as well as fighting things that are like 150+ in total. That is why the reward is so high.

having that many to defeat is almost impossible. and the monsters are everywhere in varrock what about the newbies? this quest is also too complicated for jagex to make. if jagex did somehow make this quest then this would cause jagex to lose a lot of money. jagex makes simple quests, like the delrith quest, merlin quest, hoyl grail, and etc. the only hard ones include only one level 100+ in them. the hero's quest maybe a very tough quest to beat, but its to get in the sacred heros guild, which has a lot of good things in them. that is why jagex made it so hard to beat. the dragonslayer quest is so hard for f2p is because they prove themselves worthy of wearing the mighty rune plate and get a lot of exp. both of these are an example of hard quests, but your quest is too complicated, and companions dueling with them is not good. owning a kbd! holy mother of mercy, that means everyone will have kbds and new hacks will be created and new scams to obtain money and companions. magna gb finally convinced me that companions/pets will never be in rs because its soooo very complicated and takes a lot of money for jagex to make. what im trying to say is the quest will cause jagex to shut down rs cuz of bankrupcy and the 50k-100k reward thats too much, and the exp you gain from fighting level 100's+ is too high. even if someone managed to finish this quest, then all the level 80's would advance to lvl 90 and thats far too much.

8/10

I think I stated in there that it would take several years to code into th game. And I said, you are teleported to a second version of varrock! And besides, who says Jagex wants to make continueally small, boring quests? If you ask me, they are beggining to make newer, more complicated and challenging quests. So even if they decided to do this, it would take as long as the three dimensional update.

i also stated that pets/companions will never happend cuz of what magna gb said. i posted my rs pet idea in rsc but mystress quicky closed it. jagex's small staff would have to do a bit of cpu things and andrew would have to pay them a lot of money for the lvl 100-350 monsters and there are a lot of them. the servers cost a lot of money to keep them open and not down.

messed up on this too

Well Spikeout, no offence but, think thiis idea would work very well. It's very well thought out in everything. I don't know how it would bring Jagex to bankrupcy if they didn't hire anyone else. The only thing I tthink is kinda weird is the level 350. I thought the hghest combat level in Runescape possible was 150 so it would be next t o impossiible to kill. WAIT!!! I take that back you have companions to help you.

Overall Rating:
Wait... this is to good to rate.... it's beyond numbers!!! If they ever come out with thiis I'll be one of the first to start iit!!!

P.S. I made the idea of taming in the 'New Skill' topic in the 'Suggestions Idea forum'. Did you get part of it from that?

this is what i mean by my idea for Feasibility - Spikeout doesn't think Jagex could make this, and neither do i.
