This is just a discussion to help everyone build creative blogs. Everyone knows about the usual "web log" routine where you talk about stuff that happens to you in reality, but what else can you do? Post your ideas!



Here are some of mine...

• Use blocks to describe yourself. What do you like and dislike, what are your favorite things, etc..
• We're a gaming site, why not create a category to boast about your achievements and loot?
• Use your blog to abuse those "Who are you" quizzes.
• "Sigged", anyone? Worthy of a category, some may think...
• Use a category and devote a single entry to each of your "primary" MMOG characters (one entry per character). Update it with stats, and perhaps a story if you roleplay.
• There are various places where DarkStorm could be discussed, for those involved with it. Theories, plans for quests, etc..
• Involved with a faction? Maybe devote a category to the faction, and discuss its progress, goals, difficulties, and victories.
• Stuff not going quite right? Why not have a category to rant. The rules are slightly relaxed in blog entries, just don't post attacks or anything obscene.
• "Latest" and "Current" blocks. Stuff you'd update about yourself or something you do.
• Commentary on reality apart from yourself. Some examples could be science, politics, computers, or gaming. Remember to be careful when discussing a sensitive topic.

Also, keep in mind that while in your own blog, you can physically drag blocks around to organize them. They can be placed in the right and left columns. The left column is empty by default, but it does exist.

Heh, I've always wanted a rant coloumn type thing. This could be a place for me to try it out. I'm sure close to no one will bother to check it out, but at least I could get things from my mind and put them somewhere.

I'll probably bother to fluff around with it when I have time and can be bothered. It's a good idea though, and also something to do when you don't have anything to write about that happened IRL.
