Dekzer: "Shall we begin?"

Six people gather around a table with seats for seven. They are aboard the DASE starship, the Descent, in high orbit around the 3rd planet from the star in this system. The one that just spoke was God-Marshal Dekzer, leader of the DASE armed forces. To his immediate left is Kimes, followed by Riach, the empty seat, Phalberan, Ondaari, and finally, God-Admiral Neraphym.

Neraphym: "Very well. For what purpose have you summoned us all here? And where is the God-Slayer?"

Dekzer: "Varulla is on assignment right now. She won't be joining us. As for why I have summoned you here..."

Ondaari: "Phalberan, you have something you wish to show us? Something very exciting, no doubt!"

Phalberan: "Correct as usual. You certainly live up to your title, God-Prophet. May I, God-Marshal?"

Dekzer: "Yes. Phalberan has been doing some research, and has made an incredible breakthrough... one that will greatly help us in the war to come. Phalberan?"

Phalberan: "Indeed! I, Phalberan, the God-Alchemist, have a very special new weapon to show to you all. I call it, the Golem Core. It is a programmable sentience that can coalesce with the materials around it to form a real, living golem. Now, these devices are difficult to make, and require a long time to do so. They are also very expensive, requiring rare materials that..."

Kimes: "Enough! I've already told you, you'll have your funding! Let's just see one of these golems in action!"

Riach: "That's settled then. We'll head down to the surface of Earthia and watch you bring a golem to life... if it does indeed work."

A wicked smile darted across her face as she finished.

Phalberan: "You'll have your demonstration!"

Dekzer: "Alright, let us depart!"

The six DASE Gods left their seats and made their way to the teleporter room...

From the shadows came a voice, "And why was I not informed that there would be a meeting?"

Rhesal emerged from the shadows.
