Anyone here want to start working on this quest and mission? I hear it's about as forgiving as gwen was for letting the charr destroy ascalon. I know a few people I will proably drag with me grnwink.gif But anyone else who wants to come, the more the merrier.

I got Ranger covered, and probably will drag Shiz with me if I can, so we got rangers covered. Some of the areas have some nasty environment effects. I'd offer my monk, but she is no where close enough.

Anyways, if you guys are interested, let me know. Nice rewards for it too, but its more to say we did it as a guild. (:

Foundry:

This was the first one I did. We had the standard group: 1 obsidian tank, 3 monks (SB,NT,Bonder), a bip, and 3 sf sac/shower nukers. We did the necrotic transversal trick to get behind the walls so we could survive the nasty onslaught. It took us 5 hours to finish, and killing the Fury was tough. It had 2 monks in the party and they wouldn't get next to each other, so we couldnt nuke them.


City:

This was also tough. It took us about 10 minutes of constant attacking to bring Jadoth down. We got him separated from his group, so life was good. Kiling the margonite groups was hard, cause their monks are so darn powerful.


Veil:

This was very easy. I'm sure you understand why.

I'd quite like to give it a shot, but if it's that kind of timeframe for one area I think we'll struggle to get a group on for long enough. Ah well, can't hurt to give it a try I guess.

Not saying it isn't hard, but I heard from someone that foundry isn't that hard. So we shall see. I am trying to figure out myself what build would be best. As for times, would probably have be some time we are all on during the weekend.

I suppose I've got the choice of taking Dervish or Elementalist, now. Between those two I should be able to do something useful, maybe I should plan out some new Dervish builds to increase my versatility.

Wondering if a speed trapper would help much, but I dont know how good the pulls are here. maybe barrage builds?

rangers arent so useful here... unfortunately speed trapping foundry isnt happening and barrage will cause scatter from the tank

Well, the barrage build is useful to initiate fights more. Quick way to lower a group of creatures like that by about a quarter to 1/3 in one hit. And it works well on the softies, who I assume wouldn't crowd the tank.

Though still, degen and spike could work well in foundary for rangers. Less movement on the parts of rangers, so we dont suffer that -10 health stuff.

Foundry is easy with the right group, but it takes forever.
