What good does it do us anyway?

Stupid time changes and lengthening days... Let's all rant about the Day Star.

The sun is spying on us

It replaced alpha.... you know how I can tell? He made 2 spelling mistakes that I have noticed today.
Poor guy didn't know what hit him.

Ah, this is a much better plan than mine to avoid the annoying light of the Day Star! You see, I was just finishing work on a city complex approximately sixteen hundred square miles in size that would hover nearing seventeen thousand feet above sea level that would be moving with the Earth's rotation so that it would be interminably midnight, and never again would its inhabitants see the Day Star.

... But destroying it altogether sounds like far more fun.

All the Sun ever does is try to kill me...
I'm sure we can get something else to revolve around, like Jupiter. Although we may need to find a way to keep all the plants from dying and having all of the surface ecosystems on Earth from collapsing...

And think of how much easier it will be to study space without the Day-Star shining all that light to block our view! Plus the Sun will explode one day to kill us all, so we should probably destroy it first.

Let's give Jupiter a little help and cause it to start nuclear fusion. When it becomes a star of its own, we can have it fight the Sun. I'm sure Jupiter will be nicer to us, anyways.
