The Arbiter's Order is all about member-leadership. That branches from SeeD, where we started the whole thing. If the members lead, and if the members hold the events they want, and if the members come to the events that seem interesting, the guild will reflect what the members want, not just what those with "leadership positions" want.

I put "leadership positions" in quotation marks, because I see "leadership" as a quality and not as a title. Such "leadership positions" pretty much just give organizational capabilities... I stress this a lot, but with the exception of being able to start wars or give other members promotions, there is basically nothing that one in a "leadership position" can do that any other member can't do (pertaining to Runescape).

With that said, keep in mind that being a leader doesn't mean that you have to go around starting things and organizing members. You can, the door is open, but it's beyond some people's comfort to be at the front. That's okay, because you can still influence the guild and host events, even if you don't feel like a leader yourself. Just taking the initiative and affecting the guild for the better can be considered leadership in some ways.

So right now we are starting somewhat fresh. I won't discuss all the things we have going for us again, because I'm kind of tired of saying it and I'm sure everyone's tired of hearing it.

So what can we do? What will be the goal, and what will be the process to reach it? Let's figure that out...


Right now, I encourage every member who wants to be a part of SeeD's rise to start a thread in this forum discussing his/her own goals for SeeD, and maybe even ideas to reach it. I will also encourage everyone to reply to those topics. If you want to be heard, please take this suggestion and post a thread relating to your goal, otherwise you will probably be outspoken.

Perhaps it will be easier to organize when we find what it is that we all want.

Thanks for your support of SeeD, if we all put something into the guild I'm sure that a very obvious impact will be made. It's your guild, in a game you like to play, so there's no reason not to push it forward. Personal goals are one thing... So you want to reach a certain combat level, or get to the point of fishing sharks, or you want to be a legend, that's all fine and good. How can you go beyond that? How can you be known by more than just the people who pass by while you play? Be a member of significance in a guild for which you were an architect. This is your opportunity. Will you take it?
