Suggestion

Well, how about we have an entire forum dedicated to peoples gaming profiles. With a layout such as this:

Main:
Most common online name:
Game Types:
Most Played:
Favorite:
Type:
Game:
Online/Offline:
3D/2D:
Console:
Other:
Notes:
Games that you played and liked:
Games that you played and hated:
Free/Pay(most used):

I know we have profiles, but this could help people find new games that they like and make new friends in those games.


EDIT: Quite a wierd way to find this idea, but I was trying to sleap in the night and was ill, just came like that.

Notes: Yay for cookies.
Games that you played and liked: Star wars empire at war, red faction 2, gun and loand more.

Yarr, but it's all cluttered and stuff. This way, it'll be all in one place, nicely formatted (Tanny can even make the text pink if he likes! ) and quick to find lots of peoples info at once.

This would probably work as a subforum within the Wayfarer's Tavern, so we can find games that others play.

If enough are interested in using it, sure, I'll implement it.

Sounds like a nice idea to help get that place going. We have several factions, so it could give us a better sense of how each one is going, and what it's like. But like Neraphym said, I guess the only problem would be keeping people interested. That's pretty typical for many things, such as most of people's profiles, even. Maybe we could remove all of those profile fields and have just one field that would be used to link to each person's gaming profile, if they have one? They just put in the link themselves.. and in the field description, it can link to that profiles forum.

The profile fields are intended as a quick reference. I know I abused mine (), but something simple like "Runescape: Cspace" is what they're intended for.

However, here I discussed reasons why this may not work right now. Let's hold on this idea until we have more activity.

we need something like that around here
