Friend of mine had one, but he moved away after sixth grade.

(Mine was translucent purple, and got stolen — in its carrying case with all related games, accessories, and so — from my backpack in eighth.)

(I bought a lock afterwards. <_<)

I had one since I was nine, its pink and still works even though its mainly trapped in a cramped drawer for years bluetongue.gif

Funny thing, I've got the same purple transparent one. Funny, though, I checked it for the first time in years with a friend a couple weeks ago... Half of my Pokemon were gone, and most were renamed weird names like "c>,./?" or something. But I still have Mew!

I also had a translucent purple. it looked so bad-{expletive antidisestablishmentarianized by Cspace} at the time. Though a lot of my past Pokemon teams sucked horribly.... I can tell because it took me so many tries to beat that over-nerdy woman who was the first member of the original elite four. On leaf green it only took me one try to beat her and on that same try I got all the way up to Gary, so thats a definite sign that I've gotten far better.

Who has diamond or pearl? My pearl team kicks {expletive antidisestablishmentarianized by Cspace}.They range from level 60-80. I have Typhlosion, Mismagius, Magnezone, Palkia, and Rhyperior.

no... your not supposed to get it, that makes it funny.

Were it out in Australia, I would have it. It isn't gonna be released in Oz for another 21 days. 'Snot fair. What makes it even worse is that the tour for it (or one of) is a mere 9 days later. Gay. Only upside is that since it's during holidays, I can spend all day and all night a-training. But then again, so can everyone else.

It's weird because all of the local children have grown out of pokemon, and think anyone who is associated with it are NERDZ LOLZ. But all of the oldschool players, who got the original cards and were around for the first 150 are getting these new versions and having fun with it.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".

I gave all of my cards (well, all but rares/ 1st editions bluetongue.gif) to a friend's kids.

They love me. bluetongue.gif

They'd never heard of any of the sets I had, though (up through Team Rocket). I feel old now. :\
