The factions which are "featured" on the board index are not necessarily better than those which are not. A very limited number can possibly be featured at any given time, and therefore it's rather selective. If a faction is featured, it tends to be for promotional reasons for the Arbiter's Order as a whole, not necessarily for the faction itself. Certain games will tend to be highlighted when we discuss our guild as multi-game, such as Runescape and Guild Wars. To have them accessible will help with recruiting... And if certain games are a particular draw, it won't be long until all of our factions benefit from the activity.

Remember that the purpose of the faction system is for shared activity and shared community. A successful faction will draw attention to the community, and ultimately to all other active factions that are a part of it.

The following are some general reasons for a faction to be featured:
  • The faction's game is well-known, and has a large player base.
  • The faction has a leader and/or members that are in for the long haul, and are willing to recruit.
  • Either the faction's game is a MMOG with guild support, or there exists a realistic draw toward events.
Lastly, as there are limited spots for factions to be featured, there should be an opening available or very strong need if one is to become featured.

Please send me a PM, or message me on MSN, to discuss this if you feel that your faction should be featured. thumb.gif
