If you're truly interested in helping to get this faction moving again, please reply here with your name(s) on Eitrigg. Please only reply if you're interested, or have already created a character here.

Note that we're Alliance. It's possible to create a Horde counterpart, but we'll either need a lot of interest or one dedicated Horde leader before splitting ourselves in half.

*******************************

We'll need sufficient interest if we are to go forward with this faction. While I can be on WoW a bit, my focus is on EQ2 since that's where I can help the Order the most, and I'm sure that others have schedules and responsibilities elsewhere as well. Therefore, so this faction can be stable, what we need are as many active leaders as possible. We all know what we're doing, so all it would really take is activity from those already here.

It would be fun, with few real responsibilities other than showing good judgement. I'll even take care of recruiting since it seems to be the common dislike of everyone in the Order. bluetongue.gif

The "leadership" will come in the form of positions for many, but obviously I can't say "everybody becomes an officer or higher". If you've been around and have shown yourself to be responsible, though, you can consider such a position as guaranteed.

Final F8 is with us (and he has a level 70). Aaron recently created a character on Eitrigg. A few others have also shown interest. I'm with GoA as well.

So if you wish to join us, please reply. Let's see if we have enough support this time to keep the faction going. thumb.gif

I need an invitation sent to me by someone TheSmile.gif . I'll be with GoA soon!

Let me add this: As with most of us, I have a real life. I can't guarantee I'll be on each day, but I'll try to play at least a few times per week. I also reactivated my account because I wish to play with some real-life friends. They are on another server, so I'll probably have another character or two somewhere other than Eitrigg. I don't know at the moment if I'll consider my Eitrigg character my "main." But don't worry, I'll still see you all quite a bit thumb.gif .

My main is Aranel, by the way.

Eh, I decided on a Dwarf over a Human bluetongue.gif . The new name is Gedlee. I'll try to catch you sometime in the evening this week, Cspace. If Final could give me an invite that would be great too.

I can't actually send invites yet since I took my toons out of the guild after it went quiet for so long. I'll put my hunter pack in GoA next time I see Cspace on. TheSmile.gif

Aaron, I'll add you to my list, and you can add Carpathian.
Runescape:
Final F8 - Member of 'Dark Slayers'(inactive)

WoW:
Thrall Server (US) Alliance (sometimes-active)
Luu - 90 Warlock
Lion - 85 Druid

Mindbullets - 85 Priest

Final F8's in the guild again and is able to invite. thumb.gif

I'm frequently online around 10:00 pm, Eastern, as well as other times during the day. Everyone's welcome to join regardless of whether or not they have ambitions with their Eitrigg character(s). If one does plan to stick around a bit on our server, I'm holding off on recruiting so we can get positions sorted out. Please reply here if you're interested, and so far either Final or I can send invites.

I've been meaning to arrange a time with you, Cspace. I'll make every effort to be on at 10 PM either tonight or tomorrow. I have now decided to make my "main" character on Eitrigg. I'll step up to a leadership position if it is called for. I'm just curious as to how your mysterious recruiting method works, Cspace bluetongue.gif .

Tells used to be very effective for recruiting... With a good message, one could persuade only those to join who would fit into the guild's goals, while having others refuse who have opposing ideas. On a gryphon ride I used to look around for guildless characters who seemed to fit, and send two or three a /tell about the guild. About 65% of the time they said "yes", which made recruiting fairly easy. With the recent spam feature, though, I'd be afraid of someone going off the edge due to a single unexpected PM (have to admit that some will blow little things out of proportions).

So I don't think I'll use that strategy this time. I can probably get similar results by going to the popular areas and actually approaching players about the guild to begin with. It'll be a little slower, but I'd expect the 65% to go up simply because we would have a better first impression, and they'd see our tabard and everything before they join.

I would still recommend focusing on new players, at least to begin.
