Ok, well…First time I’m attempting a capsule so bare with me bluetongue.gif

Over the past year I’ve had the privilege to meet some of the nicest people I’m sure I’ll ever meet. I’m not particularly active on these forums, but you can be sure I’m lurking around.

I’ve progressed very far on Guild Wars. I’ve gone from having one character at around this time last year to 13! I recently got the Legendary Skill Hunter title, which took a lot of hard work, and it was a bit boring, but my heroes benefit hugely from this. Sadly, I decided to leave DoA a few weeks ago because it just wasn’t active enough at European times, but somehow I managed to stick around for 16 months! I joined a guild in the meantime that were very active but took the game a little too seriously for my liking. So yesterday I joined a friend’s guild and quickly persuaded him to join the same alliance as DoA. Now I can still talk to the nicest people on Earth and be part of a relaxed and active guild! It’s still very small at the moment, but that should change soon. In a year when this re-opens, I hope the guild expands and DoA becomes more successful.

I’m in the last year of college at the moment, with exams over the next three weeks. Hopefully I’ll do ok and I’ll get into my preferred university. I’m hoping to study Business and Computing which should lead to a job anywhere from Business admin to and IT consultancy. But that’s way too far ahead to be thinking of. A lot of things can change in the meantime. I’m studying advanced Arabic which I find interesting and fun – Takes my tally of languages I can speak to 6 bluetongue.gif. When this capsule re-opens I hope to be close to completing the Arabic course. In addition, I hope to be driving in a year.

I feel extremely lucky getting to know Tanny, Goto, Lynn, Rylkan, Ari and Xmadole really well. Special mention must go to Ollie for being the coolest friend ever in real-life bluetongue.gif My only regret is not being able to get to know other people as well as I have with others, and that’s another aim for me by the time this capsule re-opens.

I’ll now summarise the past year on Guild Wars with these screenshots bluetongue.gif

The huge Christmas tree in Ascalon City during Wintersday

Festive fireworks at Lions Arch

Fireworks after finally completing Nightfall - I think I got too close to them, hehe bluetongue.gif

The furthest I have ever reached in the UW - Thanks to Ollie! The 600/Smiter teams were just awesome

Hehe, this was the result of going to Lions Arch on 1st April bluetongue.gif

After a 3 hour journey from Camp Rankor, I thought I managed to kill this guy...but then he decided to make a snack out of me! >_<

Some scenery from my adventures in the Luxon area

That's all for now. Thanks for reading and hope you all have a great year! TheSmile.gif

Ooh, I didn't notice a new guild in the alliance. That's great to hear though! TheSmile.gif

Glad to have gotten to know you too Wasim, it's been fun. Nice selection of screenshots too, hehe. 6 languages is way too much though, that's a bit scary. bluetongue.gif
Good luck getting into uni, I'm sure you'll do fine though. grnwink.gif
