about 10 hours till the public beta is released... who's ready?
Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for anything but you can't help
but smile when you see one tumbling down the stairs.

Yes. Halo.
But Halo 3 has an exclusive beta testing for the Xbox 360 only. And even then, it only comes with a copy of the game "Crackdown".
So. Halo 3 = No beta for PC.

New things I've seen so far. The Spartan Laser, Energy drainer, Mini Grav lift, Spike grenades, Bubble shield, and my most favorite so far, portable missile turrets.
Anyone who has played Halo knows the machine gun turrets, well now you can pick them up and carry them around as portable minigun weapons. They have finite ammo, however, so no bullet hosing on an area hoping to make someone pop out. Plus, they pull you out of first person into an over the shoulder view.
Now I've played the Mongoose. Driving it is fun enough in itself, aside from the fact that it will flip if a grenade explodes anywhere on the map. Riding "Brokeback" is fun also, UNlike riding passenger in the Warthog, you have an unlimited range of fire while riding the back. But... You get thrown off when the Mongoose flips if a single shot is fired anywhere on the map.
The mongoose flips easily. (And what is the plural pronunciation of Mongoose, anyone?)
Spartan Laser: Oh. My. God. One hit kill, any way you look at it. It takes a second to charge and during that time your target may get out of range, but it's Godly. And downright hilarious whenever someone gets hit with it.
The main problem I have right now, is that instead of using X to reload, you use the right bumper. X is now used to deploy items, such as the shield, or energy drainer. (Energy drainer releases an EMP that shuts -everything- down in a 20 foot vicinity!)
It's great. The three maps are good. I like. And the fact that the release was delayed for about 5 hours, Bungie has decided to keep the Beta released for an extra 4 days. So, a blessing in disguise for people who {expletive Chuck Norris'd by Cspace}ed about it being delayed.

New medals, too. I'll update this list in a bit when I get a feel for all the new types.
I know there's one that's like... "Beyond the grave" That is awarded if you kill someone after you're killed. (By throwing a grenade, getting shot, and then killing someone with that grenade.)
Wingman: Drive a warthog and have your passenger get a kill. You get a medal for it.
I hear there's like... Multitudes more.

Halo 3 is pretty good. It's still the most over rated game ever... but it's still a great game once you get the feel of it.
Ar is back
BR isn't rediculously over powered... either that or I suck... which is probably the case.
If you grab the turret... you WILL own... alot.

Nerf the Needler. And the Shotgun was seriously Un-nerfed. Which is brought out by its ammo reduction. Instead of 12 shots, you're to like... 6, I think.
Needler kills people in like... Three shots. But it's fun to overkill them anyway.
And Jake, what about that Spartan Laser, pretty awesome, AMIRITE? inoimrite AMIRITE? lol

I'm trying to make it a custom to whenever you have the Spartan Laser and are charging it, you must shout in to the mic

Finally bought Crackdown, downloaded the beta and it was fun. Better than Halo 2. This time i shot people and they actually died 
Still don't get how i can snipe someone in the head 3 times in a row with the sniper rifle and they won't die. Yet, one shot from someone else and im dead...
