Tried and failed

Got to the Jad and got 2 hitted away because apparently I have horrible prayer reflexes. Did get a few good hits in though so it didn't get away untouched like my first attempt which ended in a 1 hit. All I need is 2.8k bolt racks to have the equipment for the next run, but i will not do it until I have a much higher range level(Didn't I say this the last time? ). Not gonna waste 2 and a half hours again.

OTOH, The original point to fight caves was to kill the 360 for the diary, and I did. Killed a metal dragon and Echi helped me with the champ of the fight pits part so I got my K3 gloves. The 10k lamp gave me 61 construction so I'm at a 61 skill level minimum.

Can't say it was a Total loss.


Now what...
-I can powermine granite and bring tons of waterskins and runes for lots of humidifies.
-I can mine gold at the crafting guild so I can goldsmith them. (85 mining = 84 smithing)
-I can burn shades now that I know about 131. Crafting exp and potential clues sound nice.
-I can train at Pest Control, raise range that way.
-I can train slayer now that I have the black mask.
-I can put my Karamja gloves to use and train agility
-I can put my Veracs to use and get a D Chain.

.... meh, we'll see.

Sunday:

I burned enough shades for level 71 prayer and got another clue from the shade chests. The clue gave me a rune body, helm, nats, bloods and some lobs. This is my 3rd body in a row- Not too bad. I love world 131...

Before turning in I went to world 2 and bought a dragon wc axe. I used up all of the magic logs so i'm going to chop some down on my own. Get to show off my full lumberjack in the process too

Took my lumberjack stuff and new daxe out for a try and got myself to level 80 woodcutting easily. I was close to that level for a long time so i'm glad I finally got to it.

Ech sold me a freaking load of logs and combined with the other logs in the bank i'll be able to hit 93 Firemaking, not including the magic pyre logs.

So, i'll find out where is the best place to fm and i'll just hang out there for a while.

Yup, found out about that and made it to 82 FM. Didn't have a chance yesterday, but I plan on going pyro sometime over the weekend. Hoping for 85.

I found edge to be pretty good for firemaking too, just make several rows, its a bit more social though, depends what your taste is in privacy. ;-)

Since i'll be in kolij from here on out, my activity will most likely be reduced to repetitive skills. Ranging, maging, woodcutting, fishing, etc.

Right now i'm ranging black dragons with addy bolts. Made a few ruby bolts too... pretty nice...

As expected, Class is taking up a lot of time. Did manage to make 140 magic pyre logs though. Have about 60+ Fiyr shades, so i'm going to wait until I have all of the shades, turn them all into keys, and go on a mass looting spree. Want Lvl 3 clues mainly.

About the magic pyres, i'm putting it into perspective:

First off, I got 77 Crafting from it, so I can now make Full red d'hide. Noice...

Secondly, monies so far:

140 Magic Logs = 140 * 1.1k each = 154000 potential gp
Earned so far = 80900 gp

Amount needed to break even = 73100 gp

So... technically if all of the chests contain ammys and spears, then i'm screwed. One rune item or a good clue is all I need to make it worthwhile. Hopefully i'll be able to do this on Friday or at least Saturday.

I'm also thinking about powercrafting at world 131... I heard that 1% material = 72 exp or something along those lines. Gonna see if that's true.
