seeing a similar post for guild wars, this got me thinking. Whats the worst enemy youve ever faced in a game. Not a boss, but a really annoying enemy that ends up never leaving you alone, and kicking your a*s no matter how good you are, or with somewhat similar qualities.


Ive got several, actually.


#1: For those of you who played .hack//, do you remember those pumpkin creatures that shielded physical attacks and had to be hit with magic attacks? If not, you probly didnt get that far. The Halloweens, as they were called, would have been less annoying if your character could use magic attacks.

#2: Does anyone remember in Ocarina of Time when you were in the Hyrule feilds, and you ran into a tropic tree that turned out to be a flying plant enemy that deflected all your attacks and followed you around until you died from it continuously shooting razor-like leaves it you? Those things were a big reason I stopped playing that game.

#3 Golbats. its hard to escape from them, and they always use their cheap confuse rays and super sonics to confuse your pokemon.

Well for #1, it was just as easy to tell a party member to cast a spell, and they tended to have plenty. I agree they were still a bit of a pain, though. #2 was only ever a problem if you tried to attack them, they were very easy to avoid or run from, and were only out during the day anyway.

the hellboars on the ogre plateu in blades edge mountains in World of Warcraft.

they have a spell reflect aura that makes it so you cant use DoT's because they come back to haunt you, and it always pops up just as you cast a high damage spell. (ouchie)

i hate them worse than murlocs at this point.

The Worst Game enemies were clearly players on CS and ET who use bots and can get away with it because sometimes you just cant kill them.
