I love the creativity of the first one. It's like a window has been ripped open in space. Very nice. TheSmile.gif

thanks for the feedback!
i have to say, the first one is my best work so far, the planet has to be the best one i've ever done, it has lots of hidden detail that you only see at a select few angles on LCD monitors (partly because i was slouching in my chair when i made it i think)

that is my first attempt at a nebulae of quality, meaning it was brushed, and not made with the clouds filter in photoshop.

the star/sun one i made in like five minutes as a response to a thread on solar voyager about making stars up close. i'd done one sort of like it before, and wanted to redo it, because the original was way to red-shifted. i agree, this one could use some more love, it needs the pebbly photosphere layer to be tweaked/brought out more and the whole thing needs to look more sphereical.

but i still think i like both of them.

Not realy, but I do like high detailed photoshop space art.

You see, I perfer more computerrised realistic space with stars and such.
